Summary: Not what I expected
Review: I've read all three books and this was a poor ending to the great trilogy that had begun. We all knew something bad would happen and there were just 80 pages that just went on and on about the wonders of this new age that bored me. The strength of the other two books were the continuous action and adherence to the main story line. This final chapter had neither. I liked the prophesies but am still confused to what most of them are alluding to. Gets a seven just because of the MYST world that can hold its own.

Summary: The most invigorating book I've ever read!! three thumbs up!
Review: The first page of Myst: The Book of Atrus got me hooked on the story of D'ni and of Atrus,Catherine,Ti'ana and all the characters in this wonderfull series!! The Book of D'ni was the perfect ending of this exciting 3-book series!! I'll be first in line to buy the next book!! :)

Summary: A perfect ending to a wonderful series
Review: Myst: the Book of D'ni is an amazing story of a secret chapter of D'ni history uncovered. What Atrus and Catherine find is both wonderful and mortifying, and the results are unforgettable. Simply spictacular, front to back!

Summary: Extremly enchanting tale of valor, mystery, and dedication.
Review: This book is a tale that will seduce one's very toughts of ever fantasy book that's been written in it's finest. Each page emerges victorious with a new and thrilling obstical that Atrus and Catherine have to face. Every phrase in the book makes it become more and more interesting by the word. With each vivid description of the lush fields of Terahnee to the broken tidbits of Gehn's notebooks it make's the reader have a deep hunger for more. This novel is pure magic.

Summary: Another excellent book in the series
Review: This is a must read for anyone remotely interested in sci-fi, and if you like MYST, you'll be fascinated by it. Miller and Wingrove are simply brilliant at creating an interesting story and have done it again with The Book of D'ni. It would be in your best interest to read this book as well as the previous two, The Book of Atrus (1995) and The Book of Ti'ana (1996). You won't be disapointed; I guarantee. Hopefully they will keep writing books like these. This is an incredible series.

Summary: One of the best Myst books. Find out the BIG secret of D'ni
Review: From the other books of Myst, this easier reading, intriguing, book of fantisy, corruption, exploration, and imiganition comes to life when you sit down to read it. I'm in school and couldn't put the book down! I rather got yelled at for not doing my assingment to read this book.

Summary: Beautiful book, even if not a Myst fan
Review: Not usually a fan of video games, I was at first reluctant to read this book. However, I'm glad I did. It is a beautiful story, involving moving themes and wonderful insites into civil rights issues. Both well written and well paced, the book ranks as one of the best I've ever read, along with Tehanu (Ursula LeGuin) and The Time Traveller's Wife (Audrey Niffenger). It shows a stroke of brilliance not demonstrated in either of the other two books before it, so if you could not stomache the second (as I couldn't), still read this one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good storyline, a little dry at times though
Review: A very interesting continuation of the myst storyline. It was interesting to discover how and where the previous myst characters ended up. The beginning of the book is slow to get started (about the first 1/3 of the book). The first time I started reading it, I didn't finish due to the boring beginning. After that, however, it picks up. The style of book is quite similare to the previous books, and is filled with beauty, awe and mystery. As compared to the previous books, it is not as good, but good enough. I give it four stars.

Summary: The Superior Surrealistic Adventure
Review: I have read all of the books (and completed all of the computer games) and this is by far my favourite! Being the last book of the trilogy, I was surprised by my choice. Atrus' character is developed further in his adulthood and picks up where The Book of Atrus left off. His choices reflect his attempts to take the moral road, but his actions sometimes fall short. This novel adds more humanity and conflict to the previous works through a more political perspective. Well done.

Summary: Myst: The Book of D'ni great book or waste of time?
Review: This book is definitely a well written and very descriptive one however after getting over half way into the book I wanted to call it quits. This book is time-consuming and tedious I wouldn't recommend it to people that want to just cruise along quickly through a book. If you do choose to read this book I propose this to you that you are a person that pays attention extremely strong to every last insignificant facet of the book. Even though the worlds are well described and very comprehensive they are somewhat exhaustive in the level of detail and lack of a good story line. Yes there is of course the dark evil twist to the story, but still it is my personal opinion that unless you are completely enthralled in all of the Myst related paraphernalia and have lots of vacant time to burn then yeah go ahead read the book. Best of luck to you... hope you enjoy.
