Summary: A Wonderful Fantasy!
Review: Just as another reviewer, I have read all three books, finished both of the games, and I didn't think that this was the best of the books...Ti'Ana was (this comes second!), but the book has a much different 'taste' to it, and it's wonderful!

The Book of D'ni takes place when Atrus is 'all grown up' and after the disasterous earth quake. He ventures into another book/world after finding suriviving D'ni people in hope of finding a place for them. He discovers a world of slavery and much more...

Don't pass this one up! Enjoy!

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: For those who have not played the Riven or MYST computer games this book has only the value of a good, well-written story. But for those who have, this book is a treasure-trove of information, clues, and insights into the D'ni culture, past, and future. It reveals what happens after the Riven story ends, what Atrus and Catherine do to rebuild D'ni, and what situation they find in the age of Terahnee. If you have played the games and don't own this book, get it! You won't be dissapointed.

Summary: the best book
Review: Myst The book of D'ni is very interesting book. It was intriguing and easy to read. This book is about how master Atrus and his wife, Catherine, survivors of fallen D'ni came back to rebuild a once beautiful city.

Traveling form one age to another Atrus and Catherine were looking for survivors, who will also help rebuilt the D'ni. Every age differ from each other and not in every age Atrus were able to find survivors, but every survivor took the offer and moved back from the ages they once escaped for survivor. One of the ages that Atrus and his helpers visited was an age of Terahnee - the world of utopia were everything is perfect, the world they only could imagine, with spectacular waterfalls, lush fields, rich music, and astonishing architecture. But is the world as Atrus and others saw was real or what they though it was? Finding out the truth about Terahnee made change Atrus and his helpers mind.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was intriguing and easy to read.

Summary: Seems like Atrus can do anything
Review: Since the book of Ti'ana I have been facinated with this series of books. Continuing the trilogy is the book of D'Ni, Atrus and Catherine set out to rebuild D'ni and restore its once great empire. Simple enough? basically, but when they find an old book hidden within a temple they find a world called Terahnee, perfect in almost every imaginable way, the rest is what you will have to find out. I loved the book although the beginning is a little disorienting but its a deep and interesting book and I recommend it to anyone who likes the Riven/Myst phenom.

Summary: Atrus the Dunderhead?
Review: A good book. But I felt a grave dissapointment in Atrus. Atrus is a hard-edged "scientist". He proves this in the first book of the trilogy. But let's face facts. If you find an age that is Utopia, would you not ask why the food magically appears? Who milks the cows? Atrus gives the very strong impression of being the worst thing possible. A, well, "liberal Democrat". I'll stick with Veovis and Gehn. Even Catherine knew that something was amiss when they entered this age. At least at first. Atrus seemed to become "whacked out" with luxury and humanitarianism. Nevertheless, this is a good end to the trilogy. Oh! And Atrus certainly should have deeply questioned that old man who wanted the book burned immediately. But he probably didn't want to hurt his feelings! (sarcasm).

Summary: This book rocked!!
Review: This is one of, if not the greatest books I have ever read. I own all 3, Atrus, Ti'Ana, and D'ni, books and I think this one is the best! It makes you feel as though you were right there throughout the entire book. Plus, the ending brang a tear to my eye. I loved this book, just as I love Myst!
