The Transformers : Book 3: Fusion

Summary: A nice close to the new trilogy.
Review: David Cian continues the tradition of book 2. You don't get the thickness of a Tom Clancey novel, but you get a good story, and that's the most important thing. The story is well paced, and well informed, the character development came to fruition, and nearly all of the mysteries presented in the story were revealed. I like a story that ties off the loose ends, and Fusion doesn't disappoint. The resolution to the cliffhanger that the second book ended on was clever if a bit anti-climactic. There were a couple of leaps of logic as far as the science is concerned, but that's to be expected when your story centers around a sentient race of 30+ foot robots who's defining attribute is the ability to alter their shape and size to disguise themselves. I gave this 5 stars, not because I believe it's perfect, but I believe it to be the best it could have been for what it is. That is to say that It was a very good novel about Transformers.
