Summary: Could Not Put This Book Down...MAGICAL!!
Review: I would never have thought of some of the things that Galadriel Waters did..but now that I read them, it makes the whole series all that more interesting to me. I can't wait to see if the predictions for book 5 come true. Thanks for the Magic! Every Harry Potter fan should read this book and use it for reference. I have shared it with my fellow H.P fanatics..it gives us much to ponder!

Summary: Tons of Hidden Clues -- Great to Prepare for Book 5!
Review: The thing I liked best about this guide is that it didn't actually predict anything, but pointed out tons of hidden (or potentially hidden) clues, so I could come to my own conclusion. While several clues have already been discussed extensively on the Internet, there are numerous clues that I have never seen before, which were very cool. Although I don't totally agree with all of the authors' speculations, they allowed me to be more astute and aware when I went back to re-read the first four Harry Potter books.

I also like the format of the book (short summaries followed by discussions of the clues), and especially enjoyed the humorous one-on-one writing style. In my opinion, this is one of the best ways to spend your time preparing for June 21!

Summary: Oh My! There is so much more to Harry Potter!
Review: The authors of this book do an excellent job of delving into all of the first 4 Harry Potter books. They have seen/read into these books so much more than I would ever. I learned a lot about things in the book that I just took with a grain of salt.
Their predictions for the future books are just as enticing also.
This is a great refresher book to read prior to the 5th one coming out in June. And if you are like me, I needed something to passify me until that 5th book is finally released!!!

Summary: Amazing Guide And Great Way To Wait For Book 5!
Review: I recently purchased this book hoping to tide myself over in my wait for book 5. I couldn't put it down! I read the whole 400+ pages in less than 4 days--all the while finding out new theories and hints that I had never even thought about while reading the Harry Potter books. Other reviews state that any Harry Potter fan knows exactly what this book will say, and will also know the answers to the questions asked by the authors--this is not true!! I have read all four books at least 3 times each, and there are many things I had never picked up on. The authors have carefully analyzied each book chapter by chapter, and are very well read in the HP books. This book does not disappoint! It's a very fun read and I am now more excited than ever for June 21st to arrive. You'll have a great time finding new hints and surprises, as well as theorizing about what's to come. It demonstrates JK Rowling's genius in creating an enthralling mystery world. Happy reading!

Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK...A MUST READ FOR Harry Potter fans
Review: This book not only made me see mysteries and clues in the "septology" that I hadn't noticed when I read the Harry Potter books..it more importantly helped me to learn how to find these clues for myself!! I can't wait to try out my new H.P. Sleuth skills with book 5!! And I can't wait to find out if the predictions in this book come true, and even if they don't...they did seem to make sense. If you love Harry...you HAVE to read this book. My son is reading it now...he can't put it down either. I loved the unique writing style too...I haven't had so much fun reading a book since I read the first 4 books!

Summary: Amazing
Review: I absolutly loved this book and recommend everyone who is as obsessed a Potter fan as I am to read it. There is another adition of this book, that you can get for $$$ +, but whats the point? Check out my other recommendations on my about me page.

Summary: Well researched, but misses the general idea...
Review: I admire the author for her ability to nit-pick each and every name, object, idea, word origin, etc., but in the end, the book turns out to be a summary. The authors try so hard to not spoil anything that they are unable to draw similarities between the books (example:if something happens in book 1, they won't mention how this is a clue for book 4, which is fun to read about). Overall, I enjoyed reading it, but I would recommend waiting 'till June, because youre not going to get any hints from this book.

Summary: Helpful book worth the time
Review: Reading this book is not only informative, but imagination expanding. The guide helps readers to think of things they hadn't noticed and come to conclusions they hadn't thought of. I especially like the restricted section at the end. It points out what could be possible outcomes while letting the reader decide for themselves what they think could happen. The book is information packed and a great tool to help a reader on the path to unlocking the mysteries of Harry Potter.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A tasty tidbit, but don't take it too seriously
Review: I enjoyed the synopsis of the stories and having all of the connections in one place. The writing style, while occasionally silly, is appropriate for a wide range of ages, and it was a fun read while waiting for The Order of the Phoenix.

However, I feel the authors went way overboard on some of their predictions. They are fine when qualified with "we think" or "is it possible?" but to state certain beliefs as fact, especially when those beliefs are very tenuously rooted in the "hints" provided, is too much.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: badly edited
Review: There are some interesting classical references, and some good information about character names (and how they often differ in the French versions). But the writing style is an extremely annoying chatroom-ese (i.e., "tee hee" - so you'll know when something's meant to be funny- or "Not!" to indicate sarcasm) the authors have an agenda (Gilderoy Lockhart and Professor Flitwick both homosexual? I don't think so - and is this relevant in a children's book?) and we are assured that Sirius Black isn't "phased" by Voldemort's power. Too much mention of a possible numerological theme that is never really justified.

Wait for June.
