I liked the level of adventure and the way Michael described and detailed the the scenery and the characters were! I enjoyed The Lost World but that was a sequel to the movie, because if you remember, in the book Ian Malcom died from his wounds

Summary: Micheal Crichton's fabulous book, Jurassic Park
Review: I was in the sixth grade when I saw Jurassic Park on the big screen. I immediately picked up the book. Even though I was in sixth grade I understood it immensly and enjoyed thoroughly. I went on to read the book 3 more times, watch the movie twenty times, listen to the Audio Book twice, and read other greatly written books by Mr. Crichton. I have almost read all of them. Jurassic Park is a glorious read and is one of the most thrilling books there is. It is very descriptive and it has an addictive story line. If you've seen the movie don't pass up the book because it is so much better. The movie couldn't have a budget large enough to depict the whole book, but your mind needs no help from money to put the story into motion! A definite read!! (Also, don't get me wrong the movie is awesome!

Review: This by far was my favorite book of alll time. I saw the movie first and thought the book would be just like it. I was so wrong . Now that I have read the book I wonder where they got the movie from the characters are more developed the dinosaurs are more real and the action glues you to your seat. I read it in 4 hours this is well worth the time and money

Review: Almost everyone's heard of the movie, Jurassic Park. If you haven't, then you've probably been in a coma for the last four years. You probably think, since you've seen the movie, you don't need to read the book. WRONG! The book is totally different from the movie. This is a book you literally don't want to read while it's dark. The details will make you think, shudder, and then take a glance just to make sure there's not a dinosaur in the room

Review: Honestly, I wish there was a 12 on the chart. If anybook in existence deserves a rating that high, this is theone. Crichton is the master of what he does. I've read all of his stuff, and Jurassic Park still gives me chills when I LOOK at it. The movie was great, and I think did the book justice, but still, nothing can compare. This book is a movie playing in your mind, and you can watch it as many times as you want.

Review: sit down relax open Jurassic Park and expect to not do much that day because you'll be drawn into a world of terror, science and gut wrenching suspense and never stop unless to think about the many scientific things writen into this novel. Not as good as its sequal "THE LOST WORLD", but just barely. GOOD SHOW M

Review: The true wonders of reading...makes one thankful for the wider horizon the silverscreen could not provide. Book is definitely better and more exciting than the movie version. Reader is literally brought to 'the jungle out there' with the many dinosaurs not seen in the film. Exciting and heart pounding in itself. Thanks, Spielberg for the adaptation but hats off to Crichton, the true genius behind it all
