Summary: Crichton's best novel ever!!! Where's the 100 rating?
Review: I've seen almost complete 10's as I read through this review list. I would have given it a 100 or better rating but 10 is pretty low for such a phenomenal book. I've read it six times. The first time I found Malcolm's droning to be boring and long, but I read it last week, and it seemed much less boring than the first five times. Chaos theory doesn't exactly thrill me to say the most, but he doesn't talk about it much. Muldoon is my favorite character, and I love the part when he blows the raptor in half with his bazooka. I also like when he shoots the charging tyrannosaur with the tranq cylindar. I can't believe how close the repair crews come to finding Grant and the kids after the attack on the main road, but it wouldn't have been as exciting if they had been found when Muldoon's crew was repairing the torn out section of fence. I would have liked the movie better if it was taken word-for-word from the book, but it was okay just the same. I encourage everyone to read this techno-thriller. It is definitely worth buying!

Review: All I can say about this book is that it was better than the movie, which I don't think is saying much. The theme was worn out, the characters were boring, and the references to Chaos Theory were hokey. I moderate waste of time.

Summary: The movie was better.
Review: I read this book before it became a movie. Compared to the best science fiction books like Ender's Game, it was only a 6. The best part is Crichton's explanation about how dinosaurs were reconstructed from traces of their DNA. After that, the story turns into a mild thriller which is just okay as far as thrillers go. The movie didn't capture the technology of producing dinosaurs quite as well as the book but seeing dinosaurs live on screen more than made up for that. This is one of the few times were the movie was better than the book. I didn't like the book's message about how bioengineering is destine to produce some unavoidable catastrophe but there wouldn't be as much of a story if Jurassic park was a great success and made a lot of money for all it's investors.

Review: This is one of my favorite books of all time. Only Sphere beats this. The book was better than the movie, which was also excellent. Right now I am reading The Andromeda Strain, the fourth book by MC I have read. If you love Jurassic Park, read his other sci-fi novels!

Review: Recently I read Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park. I just wanted to say that I consider it one of the greatest literary works of all time. The plot is fascinating. Once you start it you won't be able to stop until you're through. His characters are three dimensional, and the entire work is full of suspense, excitment, and creativity.

Review: I must have read this book about four times atleast. In my opinion, it is better than the book. I never get tired reading it, no matter how many times I read it. It may have its gory parts and bad language, but you can ignore that , and get to the good stuff. Michael Crichton really makes the Characters come out and live. I would recommend this book to amyone who likes adventure. Its great!
