Summary: Speilberge fell one his head when writing movie.
Review: This is a great science fiction book for readers of all ages. The movie was very disapointing. Too much gore and to little science. Dinosaurs not anough of a threat. I think Crichton should never of sold the rights to Speilberge.

Summary: The book is much better than the movie
Review: Jurassic Park was a pretty good book, much better than the movie. Suprisingly the movie was so different that even though I had seen the movie first, the ending was so different that it didn't spoil it. The movie disgraces the book in an increadible way strickly aiming after speical effects and a simple, exciting plot. The book looked into the thinking of the characters and suprisingly some of the good were really evil. It wasn't a increadible page-turner but a reasonably exciting book still. I would recomend it to somebody who wants to laugh at modern filmmaking or just for a decent book.

Summary: An Outstanding mix of science fiction and horror.
Review: Micheal Crichton has astounded me again.I have already read "The Lost World",and I have very highly anticipated "Sphere".I liked Jurassic Park much better than The Lost World because the Lost World didn't have much on bio-engineering.The success of the movies may tempt you,but I suggest reading the book first. And i'll tell you this, when you start one of Micheal Crichton's books, you'll be lost in your world of imagination.

Summary: this was a lot better than the movie
Review: after seeing the movie, i read the book and realized that the book was a heck of a lot better. the movie had the raptors being twenty times their origional size. this is one of his best books that i have read and one of the best i have ever read. crichton has sooooo many theries in this which have nothing to do with the origional story line but if u excuse those, than it is an excellent book.

Summary: One great book! The details are great. Dino idea awsome!
Review: Big Mike had a great idea, dinos. He made a great book out of something extint. Makes you really think if we will ever try his theories.

Summary: an unforgettable adventure
Review: This Sci-Fi thriller stands at the top of the genre. Plenty of suspense as well as action, this book was intelligent as well as entertaining.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good Idea, but too much extra details
Review: Jurassic Park was a very excellent book. It has horrifying suspense and brilliant action. The only problem was that it had to much extra detail such as, cahpters about unimportant stuff, and to much unsucessful attempts by the dinosaurs. If you are reading, how did Ian Malcolm survive? A Reader From Bakersfiels (M.L)

Summary: Chrichton's Best!
Review: In my opinion, this book is Chrchton's best novel. I think he put science and adventure together unbelieveably well. I enjoyed the whole book, even when it went into scientific detail. Some of the scenes in the book were absolutely amazingly written. I reccomend this book to all readers.

Summary: What a concept!
Review: I loved this book. It kept me awake reading well into the night, and when I did fall asleep (near dawn) I dreamt of raptors roaming in my kitchen. I wish he had explained (made up) more about their underground nest and why they oriented themselves in one direction. Stay away from the sequel - it will ruin your JP experience.
