Summary: One of the most intellegant books written...
Review: I'm a huge fan of Michael Crichton's and I am only thirteen years old. I have found his books, especially Jurassic Park, to be extremely intellegant and entertaining. Jurassic Park continues to delight me even as I read it for the eleventh time! I hope Mr. Crichton will continue to write even more excellent books for me to devour.

Summary: An amazing journy through an unknow world!!!
Review: I liked the book Jurassic Park, because it is very descriptive in it's detail. It tells you when and where you are, basicly putting the whole scene around you. It also describe's how a dinosaur eat's it's prey and how much pain the prey is going though will being eaten. What i don't like about the book is the fact that there are so many character's in the book. There are too many name's and too many face's to remember for all the character's. It get's really confusing because you'll think that one person is someone else, then when that someone else come's up you realize that you were reading about a different person. I would recomend this book to anyone that can handle grusome detail of people being eaten by dinosaur's. I would probly recomend this book to anyone period because every book deserves to be read. I can't tell anyone what book they should and shouldn't read. You need to read it and decied for yourself. So read Jurassic Park, and tell yourself wheather you like it or not.

Summary: One of the best work of fiction I've read!!!
Review: I saw the movie before reading the book. But when I read the book, I realized that the book was much more than just the incarnation of Dinosaurs. The mathematical aspect of the entire situation was quite lost to me in the movie. It was after reading the book that I realized that Chaos Theory was the central theme of the book. An excellent piece of fiction.

Definitely the best of Michael Crichton, if you ask me.

Summary: A thrilling story that makes the movie look boring
Review: This book was written wonderfully. Michael Crichton has an imagination matched by very few. From the description of the dinosaurs to the description on the island, Crichton brings alive these magnificant creatures of the past.

Summary: An excellent un-novel novel
Review: This novel is remarkable in the way it understands the mass market and can dumb-down literature to the level of a Steven Spielberg movie, in advance of Spielberg taking over and doing just that. The cavalier way Spielberg changed and juked the story around to make it into not one but two movies shows these two were made for each other :) Anybody can read this novel and not strain their brain, or upgrade their reading skills beyond about 8th grade. A profound masterwork of an author who gives people what they want rather than what he wants them to have, and my hat's off to him for showing a budding author the Way :) How about a sequel giving Spielberg an excuse for re-creating the Ice Age and its woolly mammoths and fantastic ice world? :) Another re-creating pre-human man-apes :) Another re-creating ...

Summary: DASHING!!!!
Review: After a struggling time during the '80s, Crichton re-emerges into the literary world with this, his most powerful book to date...the book that brought him out of the "80s gloom" and made him the foremost author of our time... Jurassic park is wonderful, astounding, and wonderfuly shocking.

Summary: I thought the book was very good.
Review: " As grant watched, a single forelimb reached up very slowly to part the ferns besides the animals face the limb grant saw, strongly muscled. The hand three fingers, each ending in curved claw. The hand gently, slowly, pushed aside the ferns, felling a chill and thought, he's hunting us! The thrilling terrious come from Michael Crichton's Jurrasic Park. The day has come when cloning dinasours dna has been revealed! Dinasours still alive? No, but yes with the discribtive writing from Michael Crichton. The book is about two paleotologists that are at the new world(Jurassic Park) to see if the park is good. Every thing is good, but then the power goes out, the dinasours go free and dr. Satler and Dr. Grant and two kids(tim and lex) are all lost in the park! The book is so good it was recommended by nine periodicals, including the USA Today and the Plain dealier.

Summary: Book Review: Jurassic Park
Review: Jurassic Park is an excellent science fiction novel. Although many people already know about the movie, the original book has more events, settings, and people. This book is true to Michael Chrichton's writing syle: strong and somewhat gory. One part that I have always liked, although it is not in the movie, is the beggining, A small girl is vacationing with her family, and goes out looking for birds. She finds a strange 3-toed, 1-foot-tall lizard that wals upright on two feet and begins playing with it. The lizard is friendly for several minutes until it becomes vicious and attacks her. As it turns out, the the lizard is really a dinosaur which excaped from a neighboring island, Jurassic PArk. The rest of the book's plot line is similar to that of the movie, but has a few differant details and many events that didn't appear in the film, such as a surpirse ending. I would suggest this book to any mature reader who wouldn't mind a bit of gore.

Summary: This book was a Sci-fi thriller!
Review: I've read both Jurassic Park and The Lost World, but Jurassic Park was definately better. It was exciting, yet chilling. Mysterious, yet funny. It is probably the best book I've ever read. Micheal Crichton is a genius when it comes to being an author. The book was a lot better than the movie and more detailed. Definately considered a science book. Dinosaur lovers, science lovers, and sci-fi lovers, read Micheal Crichton's, Jurassic Park!
