Summary: THRILLING tale about dinosaurs v.s. man!
Review: Jurassic Park is a thrilling novel about man creating one of the most fascinating creatures of all. DINOSAURS! Excellent book filled with action and adventure! Guaranteed to keep on the edge of your seat! Crichton masterfully spins intense scenes in Jurassic Park. The T-Rex and velociraptor scenes will keep your teeth chattering!

Summary: The book is way better than the movie.
Review: One of the best books I had ever read. There is no comparison between the book and the movie because the book has the movie beat by way far. I first seen the movie and loved it. The book was so good that I was very disapointed in the movie. Both has two different story lines. Even a couple of the main characters died at the end who didn't die in the movie. If you like Jurassik Park then you must read this book.

Summary: DAMN GOOD !!
Review: Jurassic Park is the best and the most thrilling novel I've ever read, and believe me, Crichton keeps you at the edge of your seat till the very end. The story is great and the dinos, convincingly terrifying. My favourite part is when Tim and Lex try to outwit the Raptors, by trying to shut them in the cold-storage, and by mistake, Tim shuts the cold-storage door on the Raptor's tail. Believe me, this part is especially thrilling! Crichton's best work to date. Keep up the superb work!

Summary: The First Crichton book and the best Critchton book.
Review: An highly imaginative plot and a highly imaginative narration, but kudos to MC for pulling out a great one. I read the book after I saw the movie purely out of curiosity and if I thought that the movie was good, the book was simply superb. I can only say one thing, hats off for such an imagination.

Summary: A true thriller
Review: This book was most likely the best I ever read. There was always something going on. Even when there was nothing but science talk, there was a important part of the plot hidden in there. This book was also real suspensful at times. Sometimes it made me want to barf. I would recomend this book to someone who's looking for a lot of action and adventure.

Summary: A book better than the movie
Review: It is a very good book and I recomend it to anyone and everyone. If you liked the movie then you'll like the book, even though the book is very different from the movie. WHile everyone was going "Ohhh" and "Ahhh" over the dinosaurs, the reader will be going "Ohhh" and "Ahhh" over the plot. It was fabulously written.

Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!
Review: This was undoubtedly the best book I have ever read. It had a great plot, tons of action, and great characters (especially Dr. Malcom). The dinosaurs were MOSTLY accurate, and they were really cool. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, and I've read it 18 times.

Summary: HIS BEST!!!!!!!!
Review: I loved this book! It was better than the Andromeda Strain! I liked because it had action, suspense and,as someone else smart said, it's frighteningly real!! I think it is for people 11 and older. Lots was cut out and added in the movie. But if everything was kept it would be rated NC-17.Though it was one of the best books I ever read.

Summary: Welcome to Jurassic Park! Apotheosic!!!
Review: I have read Jurassic Park 5 times, and I still can never get enough of it. This is really Michael Crichton's best, although he does a great job on "Rising Sun" and "Congo". But this one is apotheosic, it really is. It does not really matter if you liked the movie or not, try this one. Even though I am mostly a Stephen King fan, and Michael Chrichton comes in at #2 or #3 (nose to nose with John Grisham), I must say this book ranks at #1 in my preference (tied dead even with King's "IT"). This book kept me hanging on for dear life, I hope it does just that for you too.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Absolutely gripping, but pure drivel
Review: I read this book in only one day because it was so gripping, but was left with little to show for my time. Crichton's cartoonish portrayal of dinosaurs, overstated morality play, and psuedo-scientific mumbo jumbo is exciting, but is ultimately hollow and pointless. If you have eight or nine hours to waste go for it. At least it's better than the movie.
