Summary: Jurassic Park
Review: Back on some islands in the middle of nowhere, scientists and archeologists discovered mosquitoes perserved in tree sap dated millions of years ago, during the dinosaur ages. The scientists found traces of DNA from dinosaurs in the mosquitoes. From that, they made dinosaurs come back to life.

Scientists from around the wourld came to the new controled island to study the dinosaurs and to see if it would be fit enough to have it as a study spot for all. Then when they thought that nothing could go wrond...something did!

Jurassic Park is packed with excitement and filled with dinosaurs that will pop out at you when you least expect. The story is about scientist and their children trying to get out of the island before they get eaten alive. They are chased down rivers by a big T-rex and are on the brink of death. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is Jurassic Park

Summary: Great Book
Review: An amazingly gripping, fast-paced book. I literally couldn't put it down! Even if you're not a big fan of dinosaurs (I'm not) you will find this book a great read.

Summary: A REAL page turner!
Review: Jurassic Park is without a doubt, the best book I have ever read! The story is of course ficticious: a team of scientists create and clone dinosaurs; but as I read it, it seemed to me that a scientist could actually clone dinosaurs based on reading this book! Author Michael Crichton knows how to write a compilcated story and make it enjoyable to read. The book is stuffed with suspense and action packed adventure. Suprisingly, I also learned a little bit about dinosaurs. This is a phenomonal book and if you don't believe ME, go by Steven Spielberg, one of the greatest directors of all time who decided that Jurassic Park was so good, he made a movie out of it. Top reading!

Summary: Jurassic Park
Review: A great page-turner. No doubt one of Crichton's best to date. Very well researched. The plot is incredible. The Dinos are life-like... No one could have done it better. Also, there is a great movie that goes with it... Unlike some other movies that were made from Crichton's novels. (e.g., Congo, The 13th Warrior, The Lost World) Very good for anyone who is looking for action. Read it.

Summary: This book was read by 3 people in one week !
Review: This is the book that got me in to reading best sellers. Well written and defined, it also describes the dangers of cloning. There is hardly a flaw in this book, and its not only about dinosaurs. It more about selfish ambitions, and the people behind them (John Hammond), their disregard for everything arround them etc It also brilliantly describes the phrase"Nature always find a way". The filmed version also merited 5 stars but if have to compare between the two, its the book which wins on points.

Summary: Welcome to Jurassic Park, leave if you can!
Review: Welcome to 'Jurassic Park', where reconstructed dinosaurs roam free, due to a radical breakthrough in DNA biological engineering. A modern day Disney Park where the rides have considerably more bite, and terror. Michael criton has created a sophisticated book, where he uses dinosaurs as a metaphor for the advent of modern technology. Unlike the movie which is purely focuses on special effects and eerie sound effects (which I still thoroughly enjoyed), this book has a fantasy, scientific and environmental elements. All of which I think Criton tries to portray through the different characters in the book. ie. The scientist, the Billionaire who never thinks of consequence, etc. If you enjoyed Contact by Carl Sagan, then I would definitely recommend this book.

Summary: Excellence
Review: I have read Jurassic Park, and I am very much impressed. The writer has done a teriffic job of research, and he really stretched his imagination. I found this to be a wonderful book. It is a little less frustrating to read about the action as it develops then be captivated by the horrors of the movie. I saw the movie first, and I just read the book. Right after, I read the book the Lost World was shown on television. The Lost World made a lot more sense after I had read Jurassic Park. I think that we should give thumbs up to this book. I see this book as a remarkable literay achievement.

Summary: NOT the Movie
Review: If you have seen Jrassic Park, you know the plot. But the book is much better. It has the plot of the movie, but with the action of Titanic. You find out ansers to the movies questions such as Who is Wu? or Why did Nedry steal the embryos? All this is ansered in Jurassic Park.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Jurrassic Park
Review: I think Jurrassic Park was a great book. Crichton makes you almost scared of velociraptors. The only bad thing is Ian Malcolm. He kept on about how everyones gonna die.

Summary: Great Book
Review: This book was the first that I read of Michael Crichton books, and I thought that it was GREAT. I love how he tells every little thing. And probably why I like this book so much is because I want to be a Palaeontologist. But if u have never read this book i suggest u read it now,yes right now!
