Summary: I can't talk about this Review.
Review: Welcome to Fight Club. Welcome to Fight Club. It does not matter if you saw the movie first or not, The book is still amazing. Chuck Palahniuk is one of the best writers of the last 20 years. Fight Club, before Survivor and Choke was the start of it all. Fight Club, has it all. Wit, Humor, action, violence, sex, drama, mind games and a great character base. Tyler, Narrator, Marla are incredible characters and stand out from every character I've ever read. You must not miss out on this amazing piece of work. It's superb. What? I said it's superb.

Review: Welcome to Fight Club, You're on your way into a whole new way of thinking. Read the book first or watch the movie first, it does not matter, in both cases your in for a world of incredible, non-stop brilliance. Chuck Palahniuk is the best new author to arrive in the last 5 years. Fight Club, is where it all started. A balls out, knock out, dog fight of a book (that's not a bad thing, that's a good thing!). The movie was hyped as a 'Fight" movie, while the book was far from that. Nothing like a good book on a stormy black night with the visuals of Tyler Durden and Narrator pounding brains and allowing yourself to get deep into the book. Fight Club is simply perfect in every way, I can not think of a single dispointment.

Summary: Fight Club, Great book
Review: I first saw the movie that was based on this bbok before actually readingit. I thought the movie was greaaat so naturally I had to read the book. Well, The book was so good I read it in about three hours. The book really intreged me. I twas very interesting and had a lot of interesting facts. The main stroy goes like this. An insomniac can't sleep and is told if he wants to see pain go to this support group for men with cancer. HE goes and although he isn't dying he cry when the men get int one-on-one groups. After that he can finally sleep. Then Marla Singe, another faker, ruins it all. The narrator can't cry with another faker in the room so he and MArla split up the groups. Then while on a bussiness trip he meet a man named Tyler Durden. The narrator is intreged by Tyler's weird nature and asks what Tyler does. Tyler give him a bussiness card. Once off the plane the narrator finds out his luggage was vibrating and the Airline wouldn't allow it to go on the plane. When the narrator gets home to his condo complex he finds out that it is no longer ther. It was litterally blown up. He calls Tyler to see if he can stay with him. They meet at a bar and have some drinks and then they fight. That is how the create fight club. The story progresses at a good rate but is confusing sometimes, I think, if you haven't seen the movie. The book had a good stroyline and Is one of the best book's I've ever read, although it was not very descriptive. I give it five stars and I think it is one of the best books of the 90's.

Summary: An incredible book for readers and non readers
Review: I have to admit that my main motivation for reading this book was seeing and loving the film. I have heard from a lot of people that although they don't normally read books they got into this one. I'm the opposite, a self confessed book worm with specific tastes and this did more than satisty them. Chuck's writing is stylish and captivating. I have since read all this released books and love them, although choke was a little disappointing it was still a great book. I would highly recommend and actively encourage anyone to read this book. A wonderful work of modern fiction.

Summary: Great!!, Read it if your a fan of the movie!!
Review: I saw Fight Club opening night and I fell in love with the story! It was intense, energetic, and blew my mind. Well, so did the book. I'm 16 and have the reading capabilities of a 10 year old so I rarely read anything, but I HAD to read it to get more out of the movie and I did. The story was also a little different from the movie and it developed the charactors a little further. If you enjoyed the movie, there's no reason you wouldn't like book. It keeps that dim, dark story along with the fast-paced beat and funny dialog; it also seemed to me that many of Tyler's (Almost the main charactor for those of you that haven't seen the movie) sayings and philisophical points of views came straight from the book. It had a lot of meaning to me and was very easy to read.

Summary: I loved the movie... And I now want to marry the book.
Review: The one mistake I feel I made is seeing the movie before I read the book. No matter how much I tried to distance myself from the book, I still saw Edward Nortion as the narrator, and Brad Pitt as Tyler. ...But, regrets are regrets.

On with the review.

Chuck has a writing style that rivals almost any of my favorite authors. It seems almost cryptic, like there is a greater meaning behind ever line of the book. I like it. I like it a lot. I am speechless as to the quality of this book. I sat down at read it in one reading, I was late for work because of this book. It took me aproximetly 2 hours to read. If you have some spare time, pick up this page turner today... I feel this book is worth its weight in gold. I'm almost to the point where I am buying copies to hand out to people who haven't read it... Like a missionary of project mayhem :)

I need another hand so I can give it three thumbs up.

Review: Being a fan of Fight Club the movie, I thought I should check out the book. Doing so has changed the way that I read books.

Palahnuk, like Fight Club director David Fincher, does an excellent job of casting a dark, grimy overtone on the book. Throughout the novel, one gets a feeling of grittiness. This book will question everything a person has ever been taught. Maybe God hates me. Maybe success isn't all to life. Maybe I need more pain to be happy. Palahnuk goes way out on a limb here, almost to the point of anarchy, but his book doesa great job of pointing out just how bad an anarchist/nihilist society can and will fail if ever implemented. Many anarchists feel that Fight Club praises their works; however, it does the exact opposite. It shows the reader how poorly an anarchy functions.

The story of a nameless schizophrenic who isn't aware of his sickness, Fight Club could be one of the most original novels in history, much less in the 1990's. Never has the protaganist's realization ever come as such a suprise; when Tyler Durden is revealed to be the split personality of the narrator, the entire book starts to make sense.

Palahnuk is an excellent writer; he uses repition to his advantage many, many times throughout Fight Club to get his points across. His writing style is the most unique in years. Let's hope the Chuck Palahnuk has plenty more where Fight Club came from.

Summary: "A macabre and twisted tale. Compelling but dismal."
Review: Fight Club (the movie) is a true cult classic. The movie would not have been possible without the book. Chuck Palahniuk weaves a tortured tale about _____ _____? (the narrator) and Tyler Durden. The story is cool and believable. In fact, I have come up with several versions of a Fight Club II in my own mind after reading Palahniuks novels and watching the movie. I'd seen the movie twenty times or more before ever reading the book. It became imperative that I read the book. Between Palahiuk and the screenplay writer, and David Finchers exquisite directing the movie was a masterpiece. The book, however left something to be desired.
