Rating: 5 stars
Summary: excellent
Review: this is quite easily the funniest book series I have ever read! Do not read this book in front of other people because you will laugh so loud they will try to get you to a mental hospital!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A MUST read for all Sci-Fi and humour fans!
Review: I can't describe how much i've enjoyed this book! The 4 parts of the Hitchhiker saga are great, and Mostly Harmless, the new chapter, is great too. Finally, the short bonus novel is really fun. I recommend this book especially to sci-fi fans and to everyone who wants to laugh, laugh, laugh! Enjoy this book and DON'T PANIC! (You'll understand that after...)

Summary: the best
Review: The only comic-sci-fi, that I know of, that people walk around with like there carrying the bible. It's also one of two books that I've been reading and re-reading for the past few years(the other is "trout fishing in america". One of the most interesting books ever written

Summary: Biblical Proportions
Review: I have enjoyed these books since high school, when a particularly cracked friend of mine began constantly quoting from the story. I now find myself doing the same, thing, even to the point of telling tolltakers to "win awards" when they take my quarter.

The first and second books are the more consistently funny of the five, but the entire series is great fun, and it is sad at the very end because you are left wantng more. Read it!

Summary: Boffo. A good one.
Review: I've read, re-read, and re-re-read Douglas Adams' 5½-book trilogy for years now, and I don't (perhaps can't) stop enjoying the whole thing. It's even better because it's all crammed into one thingy.

Summary: awe-inspiring
Review: The man is obviously a genious.

Summary: A good twist of humor and sci-fi.
Review: This is one of the best science fiction books I have ever read. It has humor, and has a twist to it and has many diffrent ways to look at things. This is my favorite book and I don't even like science fiction very much.

Summary: A great series! If you don't have it, get it!
Review: This is THE funniest series of books. Douglas Adams has a great sense of humor, and it shows in this great collection of books. If you don't have it, what are you waiting for?

Summary: fantabulous
Review: fantastic, splendid, hilarious, and yet so tragic, I feel deeply for Marvin, and us; the humans, as this must be the explicit truth we are only to pity.... but the book is great, loved it everytime I read it..deserves to be kept for the ones to follow... clarke can't keep up with this...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I read this at least once a year...
Review: Sick, isn't it? These books, particularly the first one, are the best I know of. I first read Hitchhiker's about... er... 10 years ago, and I've read it almost once a year ever since, because I'll be sitting around on a Sunday afternoon, with nothing to do, and I'll think "gee, I ought to read that again..." So, unless you are completely uninterested in the origin of matresses, the escapades of two-headed persons and manic depressive robots, tea, cricket, and sex while flying, buy this book. Now. Oh, and don't forget to bring your towel.
