Summary: Don't even look at another book without reading this one!
Review: Laugh until you cry even if you don't have a digital watch, which is still a pretty neat idea. Learn how to make an interglactic gargleblaster, the answer to life the universe and everything, and where all the dolphins went. You won't be able to put it down, but Don't Panic!

Summary: The best!!!
Review: It's a really funny book. It's one of the best books I ever read. It's full of morals, and trought a funny way shows us how people really look like.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I loved it! I was laughing the whole way through the book. At last I could read the whole series, because not very many book stores have all five books. *Everyone* will love this book, even my brother, who never laughs at anything. A must-read. It'll have you in stitches!

Summary: The BEST BOOK[s] YOU'LL EVER READ
Review: well, ok i got this friend and this cousin. [the cousin is also my friend i mind you.] ok...hmnn...ok how do you describe a conversation with God? Hitchhiker's is the best series written, with disregard to "mostly harmless" which was [compared to the previous novels] just that. The Guide: The guide introduces you to several characters who comprise the voyagers of the trilogy, Adams places extra emphasis on the characters Arthur Dent and Zaphod Beeblebrox. Arthur Dent, initals A.D. just like Arthur Dimmsdale--oh no, there is no Symbolism in this novel, who is the "earth-man", or "monkey man" as Zaphod refers to him.

shoot i don't want to write...this is the BEST and ONLY trilogy to buy....you need to read this if you like anything at all in print...BEST BOOK[s] I'VE EVER READ...buy them...[not a plug for amazon.com but,] buy it here, you prob can't find it in a real store, buy it online...

Summary: The Best Book(s) I've EVER read.
Review: Wow. The funniest books ever writen, in my opinion. I have read this book probably hundreds of time and I may have the first book memorized (no, I'm not one of those people who goes around quoting Monty Python and acting out skits until you just want to put a gun to my head and put me out of your misery). Despite what other people say, I like Mostly Harmless. It seems to rerurn a litle bit to the original comedy roots of the first two, even if it's a bit hard to understand. Of the five, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish seems the weakest, but even that one cracks me up at innapropriate moments. BUY THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW OR I SHALL HAVE TO READ YOU SOME OF MY POETRY!

Summary: Well worth reading..................
Review: I thought the first three Hitch-Hiker books were great. Really funny and interesting. The biggest let-down was 'So Long and Thanks for all the Fish'. If I wanted a romance novel, I'd have read something else. Frankly, I'm not interested in the Arthur-Fenchurch plot. The only savior was Ford returning in the end. Why did Marvin die? The problem is that Arthur's not funny, and when he's together with some one else not funny (i.e Fenchurch), the result is disasterous. Arthur works better with Ford or Zaphod.

In Mostly Harmless, I was ecstatic when Fenchurch was lost in hyperspace.

Towards the end of SLATFATFish, I could swear that Ford said the Trillian and Zaphod had had kids, so what was all the stuff about Random in Mostly Harmless? The storly line, confusing at best, is reasonable, but it leaves one harrowing question;

WHAT HAPENNED TO ZAPHOD??

Summary: Funniest book ever - apart from Mostly Harmless
Review: I love this (these?) books- they are the kind you can read over and over and still find funny. Apart from the last one,"Mostly Harmless" which Sucks. I would recomend not even bothering to read it as it spoils a good series right at the end.

Summary: You gotta love this.
Review: Adams really satirized many sci fi standards and made you think how cliched some of them really are. Sure, I love hard science fiction but I have to admit, this is one of the funniest books I have read. Plain and Simple. It shows how a book can be intelligent and funny at the same time. I would love to see more sci fi comedies like this in the future.

Summary: Keep Bandages Handy - Laughing Wounds Unavoidable
Review: When I first read what has later been named "the increasingly inaccurately named trilogy", I was in fifth grade. Then I thought this book extremely exicting and funny. Now 8 years later I giggle just thinking of the title. Don't waste your life looking for the funniest book ever, read these and you will come to experience that there is a god of insane humor. Douglas Adams is blessed with the kind of genius ingenuity of jokes, insane ideas and unintelligible dialogs that only Monty Python share. Please do all of us the favor of reading the series before we have to make you...
