Review: The Lord Of the Rings is the absolutely best book series ever written! The characters captivated me, in such a way, that I have read the four books many, many times. J.R.R. Tolkien is my favorite writer! I love his books so much, that I can hardly put them down once I read only a little bit. The drama, action, and comedy, mixed together with the fantasy of this Middle Earth, creates a wonderful tale, so jammed pack with excitement, that its no wonder this book is the best! I simply love the main characters: Bilbo, Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf and Sam. They are the best ever! What a fantastic book!!!

Review: I have read The Hobbit and am just finishing off the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I think it's the most thrilling epic of all time. It has great characters and (grip your book so hard your hands start hurting experiences). I feel like I'm with the characters. So if you havn't anything to read (or even if you do)I seriously recomend The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Review: The greatest of all literary works would definetly be The Lord of the Rings. It is not just a story, but a new world, with its own peoples, languages,places, and histories. Middle Earth is a place of beauty, wonder, and chaos; were everything is drawn into the ultimate battle of good and evil. The depth of it astounds me still, even though I have read it twenty times.Tolkien draws you into the epic adventures of his world, and once there, enthralls you with his masterful telling of the tale. The Places are as vivid as your back yard and the people are as real as you and I, with their own personalities, and prejudices. To walk once through the plains of Middle-Earth is to be held spellbound by its awe. In fact, I never liked reading books, until I read these. If you are only going to buy one piece of literature in your life, make this it.

He creates many races of beings complete with each thier own languages, writing systems and histories. You cannot help but to plunge yourself into Middle Earth and embark on the journey along with Frodo Baggins, and the rest of the "fellowship" as they engage in the age old battle of good and evil. To read Tolkien is not merely to read a story but to discover a place where each and everyone of us can be heroes. This is one story you will read time and time again.

Review: By writing this earth-shattering series of Books, Tolkein has shown himself to be a genius of modern literature. No one has equalled his feat. Lord Of The Rings is simply the best fantasy tale ever written; it's depth, description and plot are second to none and it is so thoroughly gripping that once you pick it up and get through possibly the only bit that could be described as boring (in my opinion not) - the Party - you will not put it down...it is so realistic, that you will forget that you are reading a book and you will feel all the pain, fear, joy and expectations of Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn, Sam and others. What more can I say ?

Review: I find that J.R.R.Tolkien did a great job when writing this series of books. He found a way to make you really believe your their, and you dont even see some of the battles comming, which helps keep the suspence going. Once you start reading you wont be able to put these books down! "The Lord of the Rings" series is truely a great series.....
