Summary: This book is the greatest!
Review: This is one of the best books I've ever read! Michael Ende weaves a world of magic into his writing, and the imagination it inspires is fantastic! I finished borrowing it form the library, and I plan to order it from Amazon.com tomorrow! This book has to be read!

Summary: My favourite book in all the world.
Review: I first read The Neverending Story when I was 10 or 11 and have read it many times since. It is my favourite book in all the world. It is the greatest fantasy novel ever written, and it is a travesty that hollywood ever sought to turn this treasure into a movie. If you only know the story by the movie, then please read the book.

Summary: Neverending Story by Michael Ende
Review: This was the best book I have ever read. I have read it three times and I have never gotten sick of it! Michael Ende has a great imagination. My favorite characters were the luck dragon, and Atreyu.

Summary: Ende struck the perfect balence...
Review: Michael Ende struck a perfect balence. Enough discription to give you the idea of what something looks like etc., but not so much that reading becomes cumbersome. The twin plots are a great idea and they never get all mixed up. The original plot and intresting characters make this masterpiece a blast to read.

Summary: One of the Best
Review: Just as bastian was reading Atryus story, and living the story it was easy to find yourself doing the same things that Bastian was doing. I f elt like I was really there and at times I was even wanting to see the childlike empress with Bastian. I also longed to be in fantasia, even now. This book is excellent and I would read it over and over if I could. The imagry is a work of heart and I tip my hat to the writer.

Summary: This book is one of the best ever written!!!!
Review: I loved this book, to say the least. Although, I have noticed that some readers misread what was on the back of AURYN. I'm almost positive it reads "DO AS YOU WISH", not "DO WHAT YOU WISH". A simple mistake. But, the meaning is very clear. Ende takes you to Fantastica and makes you want to stay there forever. When I finished, the first thing I wanted to do was read it again, just so I could go back to that wonderful place. And I'm assuming from the other reviews that the general public agrees with me. This is a book for everyone!!!!

Summary: A book which explains life and dreams in every way.
Review: I read this book in 1988, when a teenager. And I forget how many times I have read it after that, but I learn something new from it every time. For me it is something out of this world and I believe that the late Mr. Ende was a genius.

Summary: This book is full of adventures and fun. I loved it.
Review: The Neverending Story is one of my favorite books. I've read it once and I'm reading it again. I'd recommend this book to any one that has read The Hobbit and/or The Chronicles of Narnia.

Summary: My favourite book ever since 1984
Review: This book grabbed me and I never forgot it. I'm [in my 20s], and even though this book is rated [for kids], I still consider it my favourite. An amazing book - I'll never forget it.

Summary: Not only for Children!- An Age Old Tale of Courage
Review: The Never Ending Story is really one of the best books ever written. I want to stress the fact that it is NOT A CHILDREN'S BOOK. In fact, I have grown to appreciate the book much more now than when I was younger. I have picked up on so many more of the lessons and details of the book. Anyone who has read the book or seen the movie is blind or numb not to be touched or moved in some way by it. I loved it at age five, now at age eighteen, and will also at age ninety-nine. It is timeless, priceless, and simply beautiful!
