Summary: Historical Correction regarding Ayn Rand and Rush
Review: In order to ensure that anyone reading these reviews does not receive incorrect information, I must correct the ridiculous review by "A reader from Galt's Gulch" which suggests that Ayn Rand "coppied" [sic] the idea for her novel from a song by the rock band Rush. Fact: Anthem was published by Ayn Rand in 1946. Rush's lyricist, Neal Peart, was born in 1952. Neal Peart wrote Anthem without having read the Novel; any similarities are coincidental.

Summary: the book behind the movie "ANTZ'
Review: I suppose it was a bit of pun-inspired brilliance; to represent an antlike society of the future, who better to play the part than...ANTS! The hero of ANTHEM, Equality 7-2521 becomes ANT "Z" in his quest for individuality and love, and , as in the original, inspires others and transforms his society. If you loved the movie, buy the book. If you hated the movie, buy the book anyway; it's really much better.

Summary: good book but she coppied it
Review: this is a realy good book but i think mrs rand coppied it off rush because its the same story from there album 2112. except the man in mrs rands story find's a light bulb instead of a guitar. i think rush should sue mrs rand for stealing there idea but its a realy good book anyway.

Summary: All Around Great Book
Review: This is a great book for someone who likes to be a little creative in their reading. For me, I like to hear a little bit of what happens to the character later on in life. For instance in Anthem, I just got into the story, and bang! That was the end of it. It is a great book that will get you to think about how greatful we all should be to live in a country were "I" is an everyday part of life. I would definately recommend reading it!

Summary: Propaganda for you Randroids.
Review: Ayn Rand is a master at fooling mindless white people. The great Objectivist was more subjective then selfish. Its obvious that her hate for all altruism comes from her flee from soviet russia. She hated the Bolsheviks so she invented a philosophy that was in direct conflict with collectivism. She over-simplifies the facts and gets to her point by the second page but it keeps on going for another 120. An even better example why we are all creations of culture and our environment. To deny such is to blind oneself in subjective objectivity.

Summary: This book put me to sleep
Review: This story had good intentions but the whole idea presented didnt go over well with me. I feel that AYN RAND is a wonderful yet disturbed writer that needs to open her eyes to the real world and put away her anger and logic. if she expects anyone to fully understand her work she she should include a photo of the main character in each book. I feel this would help all the young readers out there to realize her talent and skills.
