Summary: This wasn't on Jake's list!
Review: Jake Sherman isn't really in the holiday spirit this year. Jake finds out that Santa Claus--the real Santa Claus--isn't in the holiday spirit either. Santa is upset because no one over the age of five believes in him anymore, and that his job is way too hard. Jake doesn't believe that the job is hard...until he opens an envelope that makes him actually become Santa! He soon realizes that Santa wasn't lying when he said his job was hard. Will Jake be able to get back to his own body before Christmas?

I'm Jewish, but I enjoy reading Christmas books anyway. Since Christmas stories are cool, and Todd Strasser is such a good author, I picked this one up. When I finished the book, I was a little disappointed. Things moved way too fast, and Santa seemed pretty mean. Oh well. It was still a pretty good book, and I would recommend it to someone who lieks a good Christmas story.

Summary: A very nice Christmas story!
Review: This book was very good. You got the real feel of the Christmas spirit. Well written and fun to read. A little more dramatic than some of Strasser's other books, but still very good! The perfect holiday book for people of all ages!
