Rating: Summary: Why "The Seeker" is one of the funniest books I've ever read Review: "The Seeker" is the third book in the Roswell High series by Melinda Metz. I thought it was REALLY funny and well-written. It has a definate stupid aspect to it, but it's "funny-ness" counteracts that well. The relationships are really entertaining. Everyone is so totally dysfuncional emotionally. It's ridiculous, and it brings me away from my own life. I've probably read this book 15 or more complete times (plus billions of partial read-throughs) and I still laugh a bunch every time. I love all te quote-able little lines that Melinda Metz writes, like in Roswell High #1, "The Outsider", Alex says "something short, tight, backless, low-cut, and maybe with a couple of slits somewhere." That is just SO funny. I love Alex's lines. The show ("Roswell") is good, too, but definatly not as good as the books and in a totally differant way, because basically, they're nothing alike. For example, in the books, Max is blonde and blue-eyed, in the show he has dark hair, dark eyes, and he's kind of creepy. I WAY reccomend this book, but you should read the first two first.
Rating: Summary: The Best Roswell High Book! Review: Having read all ten Roswell High books I have come to conclude that The Seeker is Ms. Metz's best yet! My favorite couple was always Max and Liz however the Seeker really got me interested in Michael and Maria. They share many great scenes including making a cake together, teaching Michael's "little brother" how to dance, and watching horror movies late at night. Ms. Melinda Metz's great writing brings Michael and Maria to life.
Rating: Summary: #3, the best of all so far without a doubt! Review: Hey all, i found #3, the Seeker, to be, THE BEST! of all so far! This book lets you actually go inside the minds of Maria and Michael, for a change. I loved the way Metz wrote this one. I have found her books to be greatly written sci-fi books. usually when I do read sci-fi books the words jumble in my head but with the Roswell books i usually understand what is going on clearly. I, all in all, love this series, and also the TV show, by the way... if ya like the books you will love the TV show!
Rating: Summary: Continuing saga of Roswell high teens gets better & better!! Review: I love how Ms. Metz writes these books with a center point on 2 characters but never loses track of the story. Take #1 - Max and Liz...#2 - Alex and Isabel, #3 - Maria and Michael. You get to learn about each character more and more in each book without getting confused to who's doing what when and why...I loved how she wrote in Maria finding the strange glowing ring and she had these psychic powers when she used it. You can really see how badly Maria wanted to know what its like to be "one of them". The whole book pulls at your heart strings in romance, makes your heart stop for action and suspense, and always wanting more!!
Rating: Summary: Seeker Review Review: i receintly finished the book and i must say, whoa. its a great book. the suspense is thrilling and the ending makes you reach for book # 4. me being a die hard Roswell/tvshow/book/JasonBehr fan, i may be a tad bit to excited about the book and the other 10 books in the series, but i think it is a great book. if you have not seen the show your missing out on a great experiance. the show is on at 9:00, 8:00 central wed. night on the WB. sincerly, mary age 13
Rating: Summary: i love this book esppacially max Review: i,m still waiting for book 4 to come out in singapor
Rating: Summary: It is da bomb! Review: Maria has a secret - the ring she found gives her strange powers. Whenever she wears it, she can see through the eyes of other people. Which means she can look through Sheriff Valenti's eyes to find the wrecked spaceship. And if that doesn't get Michael to notice her, she doesn't know what will. . . . Michael is thrilled that Maria wants to help him search for his parents' ship. Especially since it gives him an excuse to spend time with her. But he can't help wondering about this new power she has. Where did the power come from? And more importantly, could it put Maria in danger? Roswell High, No 4 is called The Watcher
Rating: Summary: My Fave out of the Roswell High Series Review: The Seeker is my personal favorite out of all ten of the Roswell High books. It focuses a lot more on Maria and Michael than any other of the books. Maria finds this glowing ring that helps her to "see" things. Little does she know that the ring is putting her and everyone else in danger. Find out what happens!

Rating: Summary: Melinda Metz really knows how to put you on the edge! Review: This Book is about The Stones of Midnight, which Maria finds on a ring at the mall while hiding from Valentini (Book 2: The Wild One). Maria suddenly has powers to see what other people are doing at that time, but what she doesn't know is that it is putting her in grave danger. The book as an open ending that drives you crazy after you've finished it. I just finished the book like, 5 minutes ago and I can't wait for Book 4!!! Warning: If you haven't read books one and two, this book isn't as good, so for goodness sakes, get one and two!
