Summary: A wonderful book with enchanting characters!
Review: This is a great book! Even better than the first book in the series. Young Merlin must learn seven songs to save his mother from a poison meant for him, and then defeat Balor, where even his grandfather, a great wizard, failed. Once he has done that, he must travel to the other world to seek help from Dagda, a mighty spirit (if he gets that far)! far)!

Summary: I'm just a kid, but I loved the book "Seven Songs of Merlin"
Review: I recently just finished the book "The Seven Songs of Merlin," and I loved it. It was one of my favorite fantasy books along with the Hobbit and the first book in the trilogy, The Lost Years of Merlin. Any way, the book is about young Merlin's quest to save his mother. I don't want to give too much away, but Merlin must master the Seven Songs to travel to the Otherworld. If he gets that far, he must then retrieve the Elexir of Dagda and get back in time to save his mother. Trust me, the book is a lot better than I'm making it sound, but I am just a kid. Anyway, if you love fantasy, than this is a must read book (first read the first book in the trilogy, "The Lost Years of Merlin"). It is jam packed with every unreal thing imaginable from The Living Stones (who devour people) to treelings who can change in to anything, to The Grand Elusa, an incredibly wise being who usually takes to the form of a gargantuan spider with an appetite to match. There is of course a lot more but I don't want to give it all away. This book is a lot better than I'm making it sound, but again, this is the first review I have ever written and I am only a twelve year old kid. Sorry if there are any spelling errors.
