Summary: Best Japanese anime/manga ever!
Review: Ok. First, let me got this straight. This is the absolute BEST Japanese comic I've ever read! And let me tell you, I don't often hand out praise like that lightly. I mean it. I was first introduced to this story last year, while sitting on the bus with my friend, when she pulled out a manga (from lack of anything better to do) and started reading. Well, I read over her shoulder, and got so totally engrossed in the story that I didn't even notice when the bus finally stopped! The characters in this book are portrayed so realistically that I was continually laughing, crying, and sympathizing with them as I read. Volume 1, volume 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and god knows how many other volumes sped by my eyes so quickly that I'm amazed I didn't go blind at the speed that I was reading. I even went on the Internet to hunt for the translations from the Japanese version of Inu-Yasha so that I could hurry up and find out what happened next. I'm totally obsessed and in love with this story! Inuyasha is a wonderfully complex yet simple character that makes people totally relate to him, while everything Kagome does brings a warm-hearted, cheerful smile to your face. I am definitely supportive of the two's up and down relationship and I seriously love the action, romance, humour, and adventure that's all crammed into this one book. I recommend it to anybody, everybody, and especially those people who like a little bit of everything. Please take some time to read this comic! It certainly won't be a waste of time, and worth your while. ^_^

Summary: Takahashi does it again
Review: I love anime and manga, especiall Rumiko Takahashi's work. Though Yasha wasn't as good as Ranma 1/2, it was still good. Not as funny as Ranma, but that's bcause the bulk o this story is in the adventure aspect. Kagome is a modern Japanese teenager, but she goes back in time to feudal Japan to gather pieces of shattered crystal. I would reccomend to to fans of Takahasi, or manga in general, or people who like books like Lord of the Rings.

Summary: Great Story!
Review: I've read only the first two volumes of Inu-Yasha, but I thought it was great! The story is excellent and Kagome and Inu-Yasha's characters are fleshed out very well. I can't wait to get the next ones! And to the reviewer that asked where the romance is? Give it time! Rumikos characters develop their romance! It doesn't just happen right away! It picks up as the series goes on. With that said, pick this up! You won't be dissapointed!

Summary: Just Can't Wait For the Next One
Review: Inu Yasha is one of the best anime ever created. This dark adventurous series of a modern day high school girl who unknowingly is the reincarnation from a dark past. Through a magical well she ventures into a land of demons. She sets free a half demon inu yasha who remembers her past life. Together they meet friends and fight evil that come upon them. This manga is definetly a must have. With the open mouth exitement and the humorous cute crush between the half demon and the girl I can't imagine any one who could even put it down.

Summary: Sing sing sing!!!
Review: While the plot is not exactly fresh (think Fushigi Yugi, Rayearth, etc.) this is still my absolute favorite series of all time, anime or regular books. If you're wondering about the title of my review, it's because this series has, on occasion, caused me to burst out singing!! No, i'm not a patient in a mental hospital, I just love these books! They're funny without being ridiculous, as Ranma 1/2 is(don't get me wrong, Ranma is great. IY is better.), and they have and element of Maison Ikkoku in them, but Inu Yasha shines above the rest. I really care about the characters. This series isn't just entertainment, there are some real, more serios themes under all the jokes.

My only real complaint is that, (again, like Fushigi Yugi and Rayearth) the main character, Kagome, runs around in a her school uniform (with an incredibly short skirt) to fight demons!! I mean, come on!! Get real!!! She should at least wear jeans or something.....

Anyhoo... I could talk all day about Inu Yasha and probably bore the heck outta you, and put you off the books forever.... so I'll shut up now!

Wait! One word of advice!!! See if you can borrow them from the library instead of purchasing them, becuase just like all other anime books, these are EXPENSIVE! So, unless you as obsessed as me, go to your library!!Libraries rule!

Summary: Inu Yasha is number 1!
Review: I loved this book SO much when I read it a year ago and now that I get to read it and own it myself, I LOVE IT MORE!! The way that Kagome and Inu Yasha hate each other in this book makes you SUPER excited to read the next one, which by the way is even BETTER!!. >__<

Summary: Throwaway
Review: I read this in about 10 minutes. Now I have no idea what happened, very forgetable. I did like it, but it just felt like a huge waste of money. Try to borrow this from a friend. If you want value in your manga, buy the ranma 1/2 perfect collection. At least that will keep you busy for an hour or so and is also much more enjoyable. ^_^

Summary: Excellent series!
Review: This is a fun series, especially to start on. The characters are well defined, and easy to like. And it IS possible to find this series in DVD. I have at this site. If you are a fan of this series, the anime is a must have.(Try looking in Z-shops)

Summary: If I could rate it ten stars, I would!!
Review: I had heard about this manga from a lot of people; they were all raving about how good it was. One day I was at Borders and book #1 was sitting on the shelf. Call it fate. I bought it and took it home. There's just one thing to say: I love it!

Inu-Yasha is one of the best manga series I've ever read! It has everything! Humor, romance, and (though I'm not too fond of this subject -_-;) gore. You won't be dissapointed!
I have to be honest though.. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone under the age of 13 because of breif nudity.

Summary: buy!!
Review: This is(was? hmmmmmmm) my first manga and i just want to say i hope the rest of them r just as good. The plot is old(everyone else said it, i might as well) but the characters are very carefully planned, funny, and unpredictable! It starts out, Kikyo, a girl in feudal Japan imprisons Inu-Yasha, a half demon, then dies, taking the Jewel of Four Souls (which Inu-Yasha wanted so badly..it makes demons stronger)with her to the grave. Years later in modern Japan, Kagome is taken into a well by a demon, then she meets the sleeping Inu-Yasha, wakes him up because she resembles Kikyo, and he slays the demon stalking her, but not before the Jewel of Four souls fall from her body in a cut... Then he attacks her. An old woman puts a...thing...around his neck so whenever Kagome says "sit" he falls to the ground. Soon many demons come from all around for the Jewel of Four Souls... can Kagome hold them all off with the tempermental Inu-Yasha?
