Rating: Summary: Isle of View (I love you) Review: Chex's foal, Che, has been kidnapped, with dire consequences. Not only is he the last of the winged centuars, he is also subjected to change the history of Xanth. Meanwhile, Prince Dolph has got himself engaged to two girls: Naga, who he loves, and Electra, who will literally DIE if he doesn't marry her in a week. At the same time, there is a rip in Xanth, through which strange creatures are coming through, including an unusual elf girl from the world of two moons, who winds up with Che. Che and the elf girl are rescued___by Che's orginal kidnappers. They need him to be a companion to to the potentialy only female goblin chief, who may make goblin males half-way nice. But as she is very near-sighted, she may be killed if this is discovered. The winged monsters are slowly leveling goblin mountain to get at Che, the rip in Xanth is producing creatures more powerful than demons, and Electra's day's are ticking as Dolph struggles to make a decision. *A true prize. Reccomended to anyone who has a brain that can think and imagine. 'Vonderbar' 'OohLaLa' 'Samia Charoshia' 'Tov Me'od' 'You get the picture'
Rating: Summary: Isle of View (I love you) Review: I am a 16 year-old guy who loves Piers Anthony's style of writing. This book has staked its claim at the top of my list of Xanth writings. Wow. This novel is full of twists and turns that keeps the reader coming back for more. Even if you have read ahead of this and know the story, you will be quite pleased. Che Centaur is the only offspring of his kind that he knows of, and he is protected by all the winged monsters of Xanth due to a pledge enstated by the infamous Simurgh, however, Che is kidnapped by Goblins. (Never good!) Meanwhile, it is a very short time away from poor Electra's eighteenth birthday, and Prince Dolph has still not chosen between the voluptuous Princess Nada Naga and Electra, the maiden he awoke from a 1000 year slumber, who has fallen magically in love with him. Naturally being a young man, Dolph is considering Nada Naga mor readily than Electra, despite the huge age difference between himself the half-serpentine princess. The book pans out in the usual Piers Anthony way, full of puns, twists and turns, and has a beautifully written climax that can literally take your breath away. If you like fantasy at all, you must pick this book up. Also, on a personal note, Jenny Elf is introduced in this book, and for those who are unaware, Jenny Elf is actually a real girl who has horribly injured for life in a brutal drunk-driving accident, when she was a young girl. Her story is also in the end notes of this book. It truly brings a tear to one's eye, and this reviewer's heart goes out to her and her family.

Rating: Summary: As Tony the Tiger would say it's Grrrrreat. Review: I find all of Mr. Anthony's books intresting, but this one especially. It would take someone with Piers's wonderfully creative (and hilarious) imagination to divine the solution to Prince Dolph's betrothee problem. He was stuck between marrying Nada the uninterested and Electra, the uninteresting. With such things as Adult Conspiraces and Pies that grow on trees (Not to mention great puns such as Prints of Wails and Lake Ogre-Chobee) who could'nt love (or long for, for that matter) Piers Anthony's wonderful world of Xanth
Rating: Summary: The Best of the Unbelievably Good Xanth Series!!! Review: I have been a fan of the Xanth series for several months now, and have read all of the books so far published. I have been able to withstand the Punishment (I hate puns), and have found this to be the best of the series. This book is quick moving and witty (except for most of the puns, which, for some reason, don't drag the book down), and addresses some of the biggest problems threatening Xanth, like Dolph's betrothal problem (see Heaven Cent), and the Simurghs prophecy regarding Che (also see Heaven Cent). Any fan of Xanth, Piers Anthony, or fantasy will love this. Unfortunately, however, my opinion of the intelligence of many of the other reviewers isn't quite as high as my opinion of the book
Rating: Summary: I'm Hooked!! :) :) :) Review: I read this book because the cover seemed neat and ever since I have become a Piers Anthony freak! The characters are awesome and it's just plain amazing! I think that every one that likes Fantasy should read this book!
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I thought that this book was amazing! But i cant seem to find out what the next book is if you know please email me at Anne4756@aol.com thanx
Rating: Summary: The one bad Xanth novel Review: I'll read any Xanth book, almost any time, except this one. Goblins and Alicentaurs are some of the least interesting characters in the series. I have all sympathy for the real Jenny, but Jenny Elf should hook up with Richard and Janet and live in quiet obscurity. But Dolph is what makes this book unreadable. His father and grandfather were tactical and social geniuses compared to this guy. I'm sincerely glad he's not first in line for the throne. (BTW, is Dor *ever* going to abdicate?) And quite fankly, I would have liked to see him bed Nada; he deserves one good **** before he goes to his bitter, loveless marriage with an otherwise winsome young (!) girl. But at least it sets up the best Xanth novel, Question Quest.
Rating: Summary: Piers has done it again! Review: Isle of View is a fun-filled, action-packed extravaganza! It's absolutely my favorite of all the Xanth novels. I would recommend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Review for Isle of View Review: Isle of view is a wonderful book. I really enjoyed it! It's full of puns and jokes. If you have read the other Piers Anthony books, you would really enjoy this one. I'm 13 years old and in middle school right now and even I enjoyed it. They even introduce a new character in this book! And if anyone named Micaya reads this review, please call the "Evil Dwarf Witch" afterwards!
