Summary: I couldn't put it down from start to finish
Review: If you love Piers you'll love this book I know I did and I was a sceptic cause I had heard that it sucked but it rulled!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Lets take a walk with (not through) Time
Review: Imagine having your life going one direction a minute ago then having it going the other in an instant. I'm not meaning the emotional roller coaster we live through I mean literally changing directions, through time. Sounds wild, right? Well Piers Anthony makes it possible in this addition to the Incarnations series. It might sound confusing at first but if you like paradox (and Chronos loves paradox) then you will like this novel. With its switchbacks, backward language, and interesting plot lines, its a go getter. If you find it confusing try to finish it out, this book links alot of the other novels in the series together. Have fun.

Summary: To be Time...
Review: Imagine one day picking up a hour glass and becoming the one who controls Time itself. This intreging tale of Norton and explotes as Chronos (Time). Anthony once agains out does himself this second volume of "Incarnations of Immortality." Anthony has a brilliant mind for this fantasy. He interweaves all of the series into a final twist. A great book to follow "On A Pale Horse." I give it "two thumbs up!"

Summary: Not A Great Follow Up
Review: In the firstbook of this seires there is only one chapter is about the maine charicter's life wich gives you the a good understanding of the charicter before he becomes an incarnation. But in this book nearly half the book is about norton's life and relationships and stuff that you don't care about. When he finally does get offered the position of the incarnation of Time it hardly explains the porpse of his office, his day to day duty as an incarnation it is just him playing with his powers. On anouther note the author wastes three chapters on side storys that have nothing to do with the the maine story, for instance satan will send him away on an adventure far away were he will inconter a damsle in distress an have an adventure with her then at the end of the chapter he will come home and the regulare story will resume, This happens 3 TIMES!! but it is usefull to read this book to fully understand the other great novles.

Summary: Just read it to get on with the series
Review: Ok - this one is SOOO not as good as the first... or the other books in the series...

Just get through this one so that you have a basic understanding of Chronos and proceed to Fate... Trust me - Fate is worth it!

Summary: Imagine living tomorrow before you live today ...
Review: Piers Anthony does it again! The whole 'Incarnations of Immortality' series, deals with concepts that have confounded philosophers for millinieums, but is served across in very palatable fantasy. This book deals with the almightly metaphysical question of TIME. The confusion a mere mortal has to face when he takes up the 'office' of Time (sort of like taking up the office of a President) and become the mighty Chronos who wields the hourglass, is hilarious

Summary: Interesting, but flawed.
Review: Piers anthony is a great talent. But he seems to write mostly for the money (he even admits this fact, as far as I can remember). The result is, many of his books have very interesting ideas, yet poor (sometimes even pathetic) character development and a story line which doesn't make sense at time. Not to mention the chapters added only to "fill the quota". This book is a good example. It tells the tale of the reincarnation of Time - a person which got the job of being in charge of time. The ideas he uses are really original and fascinating - but some parts are just plain stupid! Either way, it's worth the read - if you have the patience (and nothing better to read).

Summary: The silliest of the Incarnations of Immortality
Review: The first book in the series was great, full of interesting ideas and ponderings about the nature of good, evil, and death. This book was rather devoid of that. I ended up wondering whether the protaganist ever actually did his job, and if so, did it have more to it than taxi-ing Fate around time? The only point to this book, it seems, is to provide some background material for the climax of the series. Otherwise, it was just Norton playing fantasy games with Satan.

Summary: Series Best
Review: The intricate way that Piers Anthony potrayed time was amazing and the little love part was nice also. Living backwards must be so hard to explain but he did it perfectly.

Summary: Mars sent this in for his good buddy, Cronos.
Review: The story rocked. And as for the people who hate it, you couldn't identify a good si-fi if you were hit in the head with it. If you liked it, Read the Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny. I have read the books from On a Pale Horse and am currently on Wielding a Red Sword. If you are intelegent and have a good memory (and read the whole series)you know that Luna and Orb (who becomes nature) are related to Lachesis/Niobe and all books interact with each other in a fashion. I must comment that it ended all too soon but, it was a wonderful book. I'm only eleven and I'm reading this series a book a week.
