Summary: The Lost Years of Merlin
Review: This is the best book I have ever read in my life. It is full of action and suspense.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Dragons, and Kreelixes, and Deer...oh my!
Review: This is the third installment in Merlin's early adventures--he's fourteen years old in this one, and his wizarding skills are sorely challenged and threatened in this adventure. The long sleeping dragon has been awakened and threatens Fincayra, and a magic-anihilating cult has reappeared--their goal to wipe out magic wherever it appears on the island. The stage is set for another epic struggle of good versus evil, and it's frequently tough to distinguish which is which.

This is a fun fantasy read that speeds by too quickly.

Summary: AMAZING! A MUST READ FANTASY THAT WILL TOUCH THE SOUL
Review: This was all in all a great book. Once again, in the land of Fincayra, there is trouble. An old prophecy seems to state the sure death of Merlin when an old dragon awakes from his ever so long slumber. Due to past help from the dwarves, Merlin now owes them a favor-even if it means certain death. This book is filled with tricks and treachery as you travel with Merlin on this great adventure, seeking what is right and just. When he is put to the final test he realizes that all things have their place in the world and some of the truest power comes from within. Come and explore Fincayra with Merlin and his friends and experience magic in some of its earliest forms. Dravia, dravia Fincayra. (Live long, live long Fincayra.)

Summary: The adventure-filled third novel in the epic saga.
Review: Though I enjoyed this wonderful third novel of The Lost Years Of Merlin saga, The Fires Of Merlin, very much, I enjoyed its two predeccors, The Lost Years Of Merlin and The Seven Songs Of Merlin, more than this novel. It is another five-star masterpiece from T.A. Barron continuing the fantastic and magical epic, and is perhaps the most frightening of them all. When the ancient dragon Valdearg awakens after centuries and threatens to use his wrath against the land, Merlin realizes he is the only one who can try to stop the powerful beast. Reluctantly journeying to destroy Valdaerg, he faces the frightening prophecy that whoever will kill the dragon will die as well. He has gained not only strength but wisdom through mastering the Seven Songs Of Wizardry, and with this wisdom, he hopes to guide himself to surviving the power of this dragon as well as overcoming it. And yet through all the powers and magic and fires that lurk everywhere in Merlin's destiny, there still remains a power that no one can fathom : for it is a Power still higher, one that no one can dream of. T.A. Barron's third and epic continuation to this wonderful saga emanates with magic and power, and through each book, the young wizard Merlin grows deeper in strength, power, wisdom, and most importantly -- in his heart. It is absolutely gripping and page-turning, and a wonder to read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another "Can't stop to breathe, must turn page" thriller
Review: Wow! I can't believe any author can be this good. Barron not only creates an entire world, but feelings and emotions which "J. K. Rowling" could never capture. Merlin loses so much in all his "Lost Years" and gains more then even he knows. This book is a little more grown up as Merlin teeters on the edge of having a "girlfriend". The only downside is the surprising absence of Rhia through most of the book. An amazing plot line filled with twists, turns, adventure, joy, and the ever present sadness. Harry Potter better watch out, Merlin could show him a thing or two!
