Summary: Suspenseful and full of surprises, but not quite satisfying
Review: I suppose I should start by saying that if you want to experience Wolf Queen as I did, with no outside influence or any idea what is going to happen, don't read this review (or any of the others for that matter). That's what makes the book so enjoyable: the surprises! Now, on to the review.

Claidi, having left Wolf Star Rise to rejoin her Hulta friends, returns to find that everyone inexplicably hates her, and Argul is gone. The Hulta believes that Claidi had left them to be with Nemian, when she was really kidnapped and brought to the faraway Wolf Star Rise. At hearing this, Argul had gone off by himself and left Blurn in charge. Now Claidi must track down Argul, and explain to him what -really- happened.

But on the way she meets the tall, mysterious, and creepy Jelly from Wolf Tower. He just -won't- leave her alone, no matter how much distance she puts between herself and this disturbing stranger. Finally her travels bring her to the North, and Raven Tower, somewhere she never thought she would end up. But once there, will she finally learn the answers to the many questions that have been plaguing her for so long? And just who -is- this shady Jelly character?

Now, if you've decided to read this far, I'll continue by saying that I was -more- than excited to start reading Wolf Queen. I had just finished Wolf Star, and -had- to find out what was going to happen. Now, if it's answers you want, it's answers you'll get. And more than enough twists and turns to keep you on your toes. However, I was disappointed with the conclusion of the story; it just doesn't satisfy; it doesn't seem right. I believe more could have been told in Claidi's story, so it's lucky Tanith Lee is planning to write a 4th book: Wolf Wing. Hopefully in this 4th installment we'll find the closure that we -really- need, not just some hasty end that leaves us with furrowed brows and unsatisfied grumbles.

Nonetheless, if you have already read the first two books in the series, it goes without saying that you ought to read the third. It is a spectacular story, and as always, Lee is a master of storytellers. And if you don't much like the ending, just remember: there's more to come!

Summary: The third Claidi Book
Review: I thought that the book, Wolf Queen by Tanith Lee was very good. However, I reccomend that you read the first two, Wolf TOwer and Wolf Star before reading this. This book continues the journies of Claidi, a former servant who, in the first two books, ran off with a princ (Nemian)joined a gypsy-like band called the Hulta, was almost forced to become the ruler of a nasty land run by an unfair Law and finds her true love, a man named Argul and the leader of the HUlta. Then shes kidnapped and forced to live in this weird palace where all the rooms move (Harry Potter, anyone?) and there she meets a guy, Venarion. Eventually, eshe escapes and the third book, Wolf Queen is about her adventures trying to find Argul. In the process, she meets an odd man named Jelly who seems to be following her and, by the end, meets the woman who is supposadly her mother but is really not a very nice person.

Though this book had a very interesting plot, I found that it was hard to follow in some areas. For example, Claidi explains that venarion is Nemians cousin and Arguls half brother and Argul and Venarion have the same mother but she changed her name and ... well you get the idea. Overall, I enjoyed this book, but it was a little too much like a soap opera what with aliases and evil cousins and alot of tother things, such as magic and robots which they call dolls.
Despite the confusion of the characters, I found this book very hard to put down and I give it four stars.

Summary: good
Review: I thought this book was great. A good ending for the other two books. It leads into the story then takes a turn and everything turns out different from what you expected. I think it was good but I just hope Tanith Lee comes out with more Claidi Journals because they relate to young female readers like me. Again, this book was great and you wouldnt waste your money on it.

Summary: excellent for adults too!
Review: I've always loved tanith lee, perhaps not all of her books, but the Claidi books are amongst my favs. I loved learning more about Claidi, but Ms. Lee must find one thing annoying; this isn't a trilogy, like everyone keeps saying. Book 4 is already out, and called Wolf Wing!

Summary: Wonderful!!!!!!!
Review: If you liked the first 2 books, then you'll LOVE this one!!! The one thing about Tannith Lee, is that she sometimes gets too deep in her descriptions, and makes it harder to see things. Especially in describing places and clothes. I love the plot, though, and the characters. The places in all the books are amazing, and I love the way Claidi is learning things as she goes, and expresses her inquisitive nature.
I was somewhat sad about the matter with the Hulta, though. The way they welcomed her was simply astonishing, and the thing about leaders and Argul.....it was a WOW thing. At the end, the book came together and was wonderous as a whole. I can't wait to read the 4th, and hopefully 5th, book!!!!!

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: If you thought the first two journals were outstanding wait until you read this one! Just by reading the little preview at the end of Wolf Star made me anxious to get a hold of this book! The beginning chapter got me on my toes until the last few pages. I was in suspense almost the whole time! Ypu find out about Claidi's family, her love, and some extradinary people. To me, this was Lee's best work!
If you are the romantic kind (I am) you would adore this book! Claidi's one and only love (Argul) is back in action (won't say what happens)! If you love how Claidi describes the places she goes, this book is ideal for you! Almsot every reader type would love this book! I almost want to reread it again. I can't wait to get started on Wolf Wing!
However, if you haven't read the first two journals don't read this one, you won't have a clue about anything! If you like, read my reviews on Wolf Tower (the first one) and Wolf Star (the second one)! Enjoy reading!

Summary: A Review with NO LIES
Review: It was great, i loved it...the beginning was rather slow, but after that I couldn't put it down. The book is full of surprise, adventure, secrets, and magic. Unless you are prepared to read a book cover to cover within a day's time, this book isn't for you. You get to know the main character so well you feel as if you are right next to them. You suffer, rejoice, and feel anger along side Claidi.

Summary: Amazing
Review: Queen Wolf is the third book in a series. I quite enjoyed it. This book is about a girl named Claidi who is led here and there looking for differnt people. The main characters are Claidi (of course), "Jelly" Argul, Winter Raven, Twilight Star and Heepo. I found this book very exiting and intersinf to the last page. I really really enjoyed it.

Summary: Not to be missed
Review: the conclusion to this series was very good, although shorter than expected. It ties up all the loose ends and provides us with a satisfactory ending. It is possible there will be a spinoff to the series, based on the figure of the second "Claidi". I wouldn't be complaining. All sorts of interesting new gizmos and concepts are introduced and I felt could have been more thoroughly explored. However, that said this trilogy is probably one of the most enjoyable about so I would definately push it, as a set to read. If you havent read them already. If you have, I am sure you wouldnt' even consider mising the final!
