Rating: Summary: Review for Turnabout... Review: Turnabout was a marvelous story. In the year 2000, these elderly ladies named Melly and Anny Beth were getting ready to die. At the same time they were being offered a chance to be young again, by having injections given by the top- secret experiment called project turnabout. As the year goes on they became young. Melly and Anny Beth was the only two that was likely to survive this project turnabout. Some other people that participate either died or suicide. By the time they were teenagers, they had to find parents to take care of them, before they become a baby and die.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: Margaret Peterson Haddix makes me very, very glad that I still occasionally peruse the young adult section on occasion. Running Out of Time was wonderfully interesting, and I enjoyed her second book as well. Turnabout is a great read - I bought it last night and literally couldn't put it down - and raises some very interesting points about how society treats the elderly and teens, and an interesting look at the future.
Rating: Summary: The future that could be ... Review: It seemed as though death was on the horizon for Amelia and Anny Beth, but then they were given an injection that defied the laws of nature. They are part of project Turnabout - a test run of the injection PT-1. PT-1 is causing them to unage, each year turning back the clock of their lives. It was supposed to be easily controlled, a simple injection reversing the process, but the "cure" is a death sentence. Now in their teens, Anny Beth and Melly have to face the facts - time is running out and they need help.It took me a little while to warm up to this book becuase it wasn't obvious right from the start how the book was structured. I am glad that I read it to the end though. Anny Beth and Melly are two of the best characters that have been around for a while, not only because of their friendship, but also because of the way that they deal with what has happened to them. It seems as though this book could really come about soon. There are so many medical discoveries happening everyday that you have to wonder if the "miracle formula" hasn't already been found. This book is both a great adventure and a chilling warning of what could happen if we mess with peoples lives. This book always brings to mind the quote that "we were so busy wondering if we could do it, that we didn't stop to think if we should do it". If you enjoy this book then you should try the other scince fiction books by this author and the Regeneration series by L.J Singleton.

Rating: Summary: Turnabout Review: Turn about is a book written by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It is an exciting book that has many twists and turns. The younger readers might not be as interested in it as the older readers but it is still a good book. It is about two girls named Anne Beth and Melly. When they are old and ready to die they take a shot that is supposed to make them younger. When they get too young they are supposed to take another shot that is supposed to make them get older. This is my third book by Margaret and I am looking forward to reading some more.
Rating: Summary: Turnabout Review: Turnabout by Margraet Haddix is a great book. I would recommened this book for ages 11 and up. The younger readers might not understand the main points, such as, when Anne Beth and Mellie take the shot. After they take the shot they start to get younger each year. This is my third book by Haddix, and I still think she is a good author.

On their 100th Birthday they are supposed to turn 101 but they turn 99. This book is a good book for everyone to read. I recommend this book to any one who can read. Especaily if they like deageing people.
Rating: Summary: Turnabout Review: Margaret Peterson Haddix has done it agian creating a thrilling book about two young girls who are running out of time. Melly and Anny Beth have been injected with a deaging serum. They have been living their lives until Melly gets too young to take care of herself and needs to find help. Running away seems to be the only soulution after getting and e-mail looking for Melly. It has a great ending. So I encourage any reader to read this book.
Rating: Summary: Intriguing Review: I was so excited to read this book based on what an awesome subject it has... The two main characters Amelia and Anny Beth are already 100 and 103 in the year 2001 when some doctors come to them and ask if they would like to be younger. Well, of course the answer is yes. This leads them to a scientific experiment that actually reverses the aging process. Trouble is the reversing never stops. So when we join the 2 again in 2085, they have undergone the difficult task of finding a "parent" to take care of them when they become too young to do so themselves. My main problem with the book, however, is that it does not really come to a concussion, it just ends. And I think there were also some continuity errors about what Amelia and Anny Beth could remember and when. Overall, it is still well worth the read and a high rating just on the concept alone.
