Summary: Another terrific Xanth novel.
Review: This book was one of the best that I've ever read... and I've read a ton of books. In this book, Gary Gargoyle encounters a pollution that he can't purify, so he goes to the good magician for help. Not surprisingly, the good magician tells him what he needs then sends Gary off to do the job he must do for repayment of the good magician's service of helping him. He gets a hard job though... tutoring (Remember Grundy and Rapunzel's daughter?) Surprise!

Review: this is definitely one of the best xanth novels yet. i have been collecting his works and they are fabulous. i especially like all the cute,sexy things that the characters say and the author's approach to sex and things that relate to it. wonderful book!!!!

Old characters are brought in and we learn more of their characters, while new characters are brought in and end up filling this story to the brim with downright "enthrallment." This book is a must read for even non-Xanth readers

Review: To be a fan of the book "Geis of the Gargoyle" by Piers Anthony, you don't necessarily have to be a follower of Fantasy literature. When you read the book you get so intrigued you can't seem to lift your eyes off of the pages. I rate this book at five stars because it is a book that gives you an adequate sense of adventure. The story line is great in the fact that it keeps you on your toes with its creative uses of symbolism and imagery. The reason this book is so good is because it has so many minute stories within the elements of the main story. I really recommend you read this book to get an accurate picture of what a well written story is like.

I personally would have given it a 5 out of 5 because of how much I liked this book! The depth and perception contained in this book astounded me as it seems it did to many others. Another good thing about this book is it's awesome story line, and organized plot. Throughout the story, many mysteries are solved which makes the story all the more exciting! Peirs Anthony is truly a gifted writer and after this book, I could not help but read the rest of his Xanth series!
