Rating: Summary: A really great book!!! Review: I thought it was a really good book with the rest of the series. I like how they are trying to protect the universe from the plague especially since other plagues got opened as well for other creatures.
Rating: Summary: This is one of the best books I've ever read! Review: I'm a Star Wars fanatic, but I thought it wouldn't be good to read the books. I thought I should just watch the movies, but I was wrong. This book and the whole series is so cool!
Rating: Summary: this was a very good book Review: I've just finished this book. I thought this is also a good story, and will lead to new possibilitys with Zekk and Lusa as jedi knights. I also liked how Jacen and Tenal Ka are getting more romanticly involved with eachother, becouse everyone who has read a couple of the books know that this would eventualy happen. The only thing I did not like was that Bornan Thul died.
Rating: Summary: Has Highlights, But Overall: Boring Review: I've only read some "Young Jedi Knight" books, but I think this one was the worst. It didn't really have a complex plot and if you haven't read the books just before it (which I haven't), the beginning is pretty confusing. The books does have some highlights, but I'm wondering why suddenly everyone would find out there was this super-dangerous plague that could wipe out the Rebels, even though the others books (Zahn's, Rusch's, etc.) had evil Imperial commanders who could probably have discovered it. I'm not sorry I read it, but you have to get through lots of boring parts. Worth it if you are OBSESSED with the "Young Jedi Knights" but don't bother otherwise.
Rating: Summary: This book is way out there! I give it a million stars! Review: Oh my god! Any one who is a Star Wars fan must have this book! From what I read Jacen and Jaina have really matured in the Force, with themselves, and with other people. Jacen and Tenel Ka are defenitly together, although Jaina and Zeek are takin it kinda slow. You really should read the book. There's all kind of action in there. Let's see, we have the plauge destroyed, the death of Raynars father, a little kiss at the end and...... Well if I keep goin I'll probably write the book for you. Which of course would take hours. Basically, if you are any type of Star Wars fan, this book is a nesecity in your collection. RUN OUT AND BUY IT TODAY! Bye!
Rating: Summary: An excellent conclusion to the second storyline in the saga Review: Since I am rereading this entire series for the first time in several years I was surprised to realize I remembered almost nothing about this book despite the fact that it is the climax of the series. This does not however, in any way imply a lack of excitment. In fact it was solidly gripping from page one right to the end. This book was the last in the second cycle of Young Jedi Knights novels, and it was one of the best. It basically takes up right where the previous book left off, with the kids, now fully healed, preparing to meet with the senet to discuss the possible threat the Diversity Alliance may be posing to all human life in the galaxy. Meanwhile Zekk goes to find Bornan Thul and takes Raynar with him because Raynar is Bornan's son and he would be more likely to trust him if he is with him. They discover the human plague secret so Leia sends them (Zekk, Bornan, Raynar, Jacen, Jaina, Lowie, and Tenel Ka) on a mission to go and try to destroy the plague storehouse before the Diversity Aliance can get to it and destroy all human's with it. The rest of the book is an intense account of their adventures trying to accomplish this goal, but as to whether they succeed or not, well, you'll just have to read the book, because I'm not telling! I will say though, that it has several unexpected twists, one of which is very sad. One of the few problems with this book is that Leia would knowingly send her children on such a dangerous mission. Despite the fact that they are almost full Jedi Knights, that doesn't change the fact that they are her children, and I don't believe any parent would willingly send their child into such mortal danger. My parants definitely wouldn't! I must admit, I am getting slightly less resentful of all these irritating little couples that are forming (Jacen and Tenel Ka, Jaina and Zekk, Lowie and Raaba, and of course Lusa and Raynar). Jacen and Tenal Ka are funny and interesting, and I have no objections to them liking each other, and Lowie and Raaba are plausible, though boring. Jaina and Zekk are hugely boring though, and Lusa and Raynar are completly implausible. Even so, this was not overpoweringly bad, so I guess I really have nothing to complain about really. In short, this is an excellent series of Star Wars books that are better even then some regular books I've read, and certainly more exciting.
Rating: Summary: THRILLING! NOT TO BE MISSED! I LOVED IT! Review: This book was a lot better than "Jedi Under Siege". KJA goes more into detail in this book and describes the battles much better than he did in "JUS". I loved the space battle, I loved the blaster battle on Ryloth, and I loved that fight between Lowbacca and Corrsk. Boba Fett and IG-88 were excellent in this book. At least Fett didn't kill the kids. And it's good to see Lusa back in action again. There were absolutely no flaws in this book. THIS BOOK WAS RIVETING FROM START TO FINISH! I GIVE IT A MILLION THUMBS UP-WAY UP!!!!
Rating: Summary: great book, excellent plot and characters Review: This book was a thrilling conclusion to the series of the Emperor's Plague. It had a very good plot and the characters have been portrayed very good throughout the whole series. I can't wait to read the next in this series.
Rating: Summary: A good ending for the story Review: This book was wonderful. You can't expect everyone to live all of the time. There are always sacrifices, and this book has them. But there is also some great character relationships in the book. Now that Jaina and Jacen are getting older, I'm glad to see their relationships going somewhere with Zekk and Tenel Ka. This book has a great ending to the Diversity Alliance story. (Even if Bornan Thul did die).
Rating: Summary: Awesome! (All there is to it) Review: This is a great book for a Star Wars fan. It's part of a growing series of books very well written.
