Summary: Wonderful but for one thing:
Review: I thought the last book in the Talia trilogy was really great except for when Ancar raped Talia. That was a little much on Mrs Lackeys part. I really liked though, how she brought the end of her first trilogy together and sort of tied everything up. It really answered some questions I had about Talia and Dirk and Kris's realationship together. All in all, I would have to say it was a really good book except for those two pages.

Summary: GREAT!!!!!!!!!
Review: I thought this book was the best book I have read in a while. Only in the Last Herald Mage trilogy did almost cry. For those of you who think its to graphic, it definitly adds a touch of reallity. I really felt for Talia.

Summary: The plot and writing are too predictable.
Review: I try to like Mercedes Lackey, I really do. However, this trilogy is written in black and white rather than shades of gray. The villains are evil (and she gives you very graphic descriptions of how and why) and the good guys are Good, and never the twain shall meet. All this is fine, but it makes for a very predictable, even boring read. It's also disturbingly graphic. Ms. Lackey shows us, in very minute detail, all the evil things the bad guys do, and then holds up her hands in horror and says Oh! How terrible! I have nothing against violence if it somehow has a point within the plot, but here it doesn't. It just shows us in nauseating detail how bad the bad guys are and why it's so right that the good guys are fighting them. I'd say this book has the right sort of plot to appeal to teenagers and novice fantasy readers, but the graphic violence is just too much. If you're a parent, read this book before you let your child anywhere near it.

Summary: If I could give more *'s I would!
Review: I was introduced to Mercedes Lackeys world of Valdemar by a friend, who gave me the Black Gryphon books, and I immediatly fell in love with them. I read through them, trying to go by the timeline, but I think the Arrows of the Queen trilogy was one of the best! (By the Swoard, and the Oathbreaks trilogy were my other favs.) And of the three Arrow books, Arrows Fall was the most fantastic. I cry in almost all of Ms. Lackeys books, if someone dies, but this book had the biggest effect on me. I can't say enough about it...it was fantastic. Deffinatly worth reading, but read the first two first! (And then the rest of the Valdemar books!)

Summary: My opinion of a GREAT writer!
Review: I'll keep this short and sweet....
This series is one of the best I have ever picked up!
The lives in between these covers will entertain you till the last book!
I personally couldn't wait to find out what happened next...
Every character comes to vivid life! ENJOY!!!!...

Summary: A book to disappear in
Review: I'm a great Mercedes Lackey fan, and this is the third book in the trilogy that is by far my favorite of her works. Lackey portrays a realistic character, lacking in self confidence but determined to succeed and, as always, she creates an atmosphere that draws the reader in to become part of the story itself. Aboslutely wonderful!

Summary: I think I've read this book about 7 times...
Review: I've read all the Arrow books at least 3 times each, and Arrow's Fall even more. These books are refreshingly simple...the bad guys are bad, the good guys are good, and good will triumph (but with a price of course). Poor Kris...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Really, really good!
Review: If you like fantasy, you'll love this book!

Of all the Valdemar books, this is one of my favorites!

If you have liked any of the Valdemar books, your sure to like this one. Of course, read the first two books (Arrows of the Queen and Arrows Flight) in the Arrows series before this one.

It's about the Herald Talia. When the princess Elspeth is looking for eligible suitors, Talia and her friend Kris are sent to a foreign country to check if a prince is really as kind as he seems. When they arrive, they realize that Ancar (the prince) is going to kill his father, most of the other court members, and them! I won't say anymore because it could spoil the book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The most heartwrenching book you'll ever read...
Review: If you've read the first two of the wonderful Arrows series, you've come to know Talia as a close friend. In Arrow's Fall, so many tradgedies spark her life so that you cry even when she cannot.
