Rating: Summary: Most eye-gripping story from the first set, and I mean it! Review: As stories go, you would expect the first book
to be the best and the last the worst - just like
in the movies. HOWever, this is THE one exception.
It's heart racing and definitely a page turner.
You finally get the 3 month long waiting conclusion to the already built-up suspense and forever present conflicts - emotional and physical.
What's Zekk going to do? Follow Master
Brakiss or go to his heart where deep down inside, he knows what's right? Is he going to fulfill the
title of Darkest Knight and destroy his longtime
friends Jacen and Jaina Solo? Jaina Solo, what a tough subject to breach for him. If you haven't read this book yet, I won't ruin the story OR the
ending - you just have to read it for yourself.
Although I will tell you this. My favorite is when they do battle on Yavin4 with the Dark Jedi
and wipe the tables with them. Catch the breath holding suspense as Zekk confronts his long dreaded adversary and the light battles dark in
this action packed and great-looking book. (The covers on these YJK books are awesome -
adorned with foil and metallics. But get them while they are still in their original form or
you'll miss some hot effects.)
I rate a 10, but if I had my way, it would be a 10+ 'cause frankly, it's the BEST!
Fair price, (even though I got mine a little cheaper) cool cover, and most of all, an EXCELLENT
ending. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee.
But if you are, well, can't ever please everybody!
Rating: Summary: Best in Serias Review: I liked it because the book was one giant battle. It had a lot of action, and good plot. It was predictable that Zekk would not hurt the twins or their friend. Also the part about the Emperor was good, that was not too predictable. Also the part how Brakiss was almost turned back to the lightside. I thought in the long run it had good characters and a good plot
Rating: Summary: Better than the first two... Review: I thought this book was better than its predecessors. The story is different, set on the twins home planet of Coruscant. The introduction of Zekk was one of the better points in the series, with a sarcastic sense of humor. His scoundrel looks, and shady background make him reminiscent of Han Solo. I just wish more time was spent on explaining his relationship to the twins, especially Jaina.
I suppose that will be the subject in books to come
Rating: Summary: The best of the Jedi Academy Review: I liked this book alot. It was action-packed, suspense filled, and still managed to put in a good deal with the emotions of the characters. My only regret is that it could've spent more time on the battle between Zekk and Jaina, and spent a little more time on its outcome. It also left something to be desired about the adventures of Jacen, Tenel-Ka, Lowie, and Shadow Academy. It is definitely the best of the series so far
Rating: Summary: Thrilling and Action-Packed! Review: This book is really exciting! It's the last and the greatest battle between the Jedi Academy and the Shawdow Academy. The characters show real courage. This is especially true of Jaina because she has to fight someone whom she cares about dearly. This book even has some funny jokes in it. I was so engrossed in this book, that I didn't want to put it down. Also the way the authors describe the surroundings is outstanding because it's so detailed that readers will improve their vocabulary from all the new words, yet it's not too hard to understand. I would recommmend this book to all kids between the ages 10-14. I guarantee they'll love Jedi Under Siege! I know I did
Rating: Summary: The Book is Not Worth the Extra Charge! Review: I own a copy of this book. I got the book at my local pathmark store for fifteen percent off. The book was over rated. Those of you who still watn the book, there are still many copies of it in the East Brunswick, NJ Pathmark on route 18. The book was good, though, I espacially like the part when Zeck duels with Jacia. It was really cool when the Great Temple blew up also! The Book was good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
