Summary: Excellent Book
Review: Absolutely wonderful! I enjoyed every minute. Orb and Nature have always been my favorites in the series, and thank you Piers Anthony for writing about them! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys music, Nature, and Chaos.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Yet, Another Wonderful Read in the IOI Series
Review: After being introduced to the wonderful nature (pardon the pun) of Orb in the fourth book, it was wonderful to come back and revisit her and really get to know her in this fifth book of the Incarnations of Immortality series. Of particular interest is what happened to her shortly after Mym left... which is the setup for book #2 (Norton's love, Orlean) and the last book.

As with all of the other books, Satan is there to cause mayhem in her life as he continues to champion the cause of evil. When Orb meets and starts to fall in love with a man named Natasha (his father wanted a daughter) she is warned by all of the incarnations that Satan might have a hand in it and to be on her guard.

This book is very good, and you see how all of the Incarnations are related to each other in one way or another... including Satan, the Incarnation of Evil.

Summary: A book to Sing about.
Review: Alright! Another family member. Orb. The Green Mother. Nature herself. This novel is excellently written. So well that when the music was describe I could actually hear it. No the radio wasn't playing, I just knew what it was to sound like. Orb is an interesting mortal and a fabulous Incarnation. Her life has been as entertwined as the treads of fate, I wonder why? HA HA But in all seriousness I found this novel a perfect addition to the series. Now I HAVE to read the others.

Summary: Any form of beauty is portayed excellently.
Review: As a 14 year old reader, I read books a maximum of twice. Not this one, I read it three times, soon four. This book portrays music, love, friendship, art in any form otherwise. The people and stories and relationships(friendships and love) come alive, and you will never forget this book.

Summary: Being a Green Mother
Review: Being a Green Mother is the 5th book in the Incarnations of Immortality. If you've not read the previous 4 books, the storyline and family ties may confuse you a bit. I have always felt that this series screams paganism at top volume. Perhaps the author did not mean for it to be so, but Orb, with her abilities and gifts, best exemplifies what every pagan wishes to be able to do.

Summary: Very Different
Review: I have read the first five books in this series and this one, Fate and Death were my fav's so far.But I was kinda disappointed because we didn't really learn anything about how Nature works. I guess I had high expectations of this book but it didn't really reach them. The main character, Orb, is really a great character. She popped up in 3 of the books so far so that was cool. The only thing was that it was kinda annoying to reread all that stuff about Mym since it was in his book too but I guess if you haven't read War then you need to know it... One thing I noticed was that Piers Anthony just doesn't cut it when writing female characters. He describes everything from a male point of view (I guess he can't help that though.) But he did write Satan really well at the end, that's one point in his favour. I don't think this ended the series very well, thankfully there's 2 more though. It sort of leaves you hanging at the end. Does Orb do well as Gaea? What happens after that end scene? How does her life go on? Stuff like that. Overall, this book was good, but not great. I recommend reading it, but not very highly. From reading the back, I was expecting more romance in it. Between Orb and whoever but there was very little, that kind of disappointed me.

Summary: Well-intended, but a weak link in the INCARNATIONS series.
Review: I have to admit, I expected a whole lot more from Gaea. The book may be a wonderful book, but compared to the others of the Incarnations series, she was weak. I loved Nature's interactions in the other books and I did love the ending of this book, but the plot proved to be slightly boring. I like the other INCARNATIONS books better.

Summary: I. AM. HOOKED.
Review: I love reading. Unfortunately, once I start I can't stop which is why I promised myself NOT TO start any new set of books. Of course, once I picked up this book, that resolution fell FLAT. Incarnations of Immortality, here I come! This book is a beautiful, beautiful story and it explains so much. Mr Anthony has pulled off the incredible feat of actually making me feel sorry for Satan! Anyone who feels the same way after reading this should read Mr Anthony's "For the Love of Evil". It gives a really satisfying conclusion for those who are a little worried about what happens to the Lord of Evil...

Summary: One of the best
Review: I read this book only to continue reading this series in order, but when I finished, I was glad I did. It was simply amazing. Admittedly, it did drag in parts. But watching Orb progress throughout her life, learning how to be Gaea and not realizing it, was interesting, and a different spin in the rest of the books. The Natasha story line, and the ending of the book just left me stunned. Speechless. I had to reread the last chapter a couple of times. I'm quickly reading through another book right now so I read For Love of Evil, and find out some of Satan's thoughts on what was going on there. DEFINITELY read this book ... be warned, however ... even though all of the Incarnations books say they stand alone, it really helps to read the series in order.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: At least I've now read all in this series --
Review: I see there are great differences in opinions on this book -- I enjoyed the other four in this series but had to struggle through this one. I assume, since this was the fifth of the series, it was the fifth written. As I read the book, I had the feeling that Mr. Anthony had gotten to the "Let's get this overwith!" point with this one. Not near as much to think about, or to be intrigued by as there was in On A Pale Horse or Bearing an Hourglass.
