Summary: Hmm . . .
Review: Hmm . . . what else am I supposed to say about this book? It was . . . it was different. I usually am kinda in to ghost stories, but not this one. I think that it was just gettin' a little too technical for me. I mean, there were all of these scientific terms and stuff and . . . Well, I don't really know how to say it except that the book was missing something. It was definitely missing a lot of the relationship aspects that we've all grown to love so much. Like, for example, there was this whole fight scene between Michael and Maria, and it was never really resolved. I happen to be a HUGE Michael and Maria fan, and when they throw something like that in a book, it makes me upset.

I'm not trying to say anything bad about Mel Odom's work. I think that any writer who has enough courage to write a book and get it out where the public can read it without knowing what they're gonna think deserves a round of applause. *clap, clap, Mel Odom. You're very brave* But, honestly, I didn't like the book. I actually haven't even finished it yet because I'm not interested in it, and I've had it for a year now. I've still got about 20 pages left.

Nothing against the author, I just didn't like the book, and that's my personal opinion.

Review: I personaly LOVE the roswell books by melinda metz and the show.Roswell is one of my fave shows ever. I started to read the books around the same time the show started and i liked the fact that the books are difrant from the shows. That way you don't know every thing that will happen. before it happens. And if you read the books and pay attention to the shows there are tons of stuff that are linked together just not the way you exspect it to be. Like Isabels boy friend nickolas hes also int the show. But he dated the Isabel that lived on the plant and he didnt die. Plus in the books theres a lot more people that die. And ensted of a brother micheal finds out he has a sister ensted of a brother. Plus she dosent act the brother from the books. Its ok thoe because that makes it more fun...

Summary: Masquerade de la Mort
Review: The best of the Roswell books to date, with a plot worthy of H. P. Lovecraft or Nigel Kneale.

Earth-dwelling aliens Max and Isabel Evans and Michael Guerin find themselves at the center of an odd phenomenon manifesting around Roswell: the return of the dead. All over town, and in the nearby Indian reservation, people are seeing ghosts - with considerable attitude. Far from harmless apparitions, these shades bite.

Max's Indian friend River Dog says it all has something to do with an ancient prophecy. Max is more skeptical. While any number of people are being assaulted by the dangerous apparitions, only he, Isabel and Michael can see them all, in whatever guise they take. And that means their unearthliness is genuinely "unearthly," in the truest sense of the word - the ghosts haunting Roswell are something literally not from planet Earth. In fact, they're not even really ghosts. They're something a great deal worse...

Mel Odom is a sure hand at writing series-based novels with pre-established characters and settings (he writes for the Buffy and Sabrina the Teenage Witch franchises, as well), and it shows here. He realizes the Roswell characters, perfectly. The dialogue is crisp, the action brisk. There's more meat than usual to the story, the plot filled with suspense and clever twists and turns. This isn't just a good Roswell novel, it's plain good science fiction.

Good stuff.

Review: the story starts out with michael out in the dessert doing work
for a company out in the desert with several other guys. when the
guys get bored at night they decide to tell ghost stories. the problem is that one of the guys's dead father comes back to haunt him and only michael and the guy can see the ghost. as it turns out, ghosts are appearing all over roswell and the indian reservation saying that the town's residents must get rid of the
visitors,(in other words the aliens) or there will be a terrible
price to pay. also they come to the frinds of the aliens and threaten them that if they don't dissasociate with the visitors
they will all meet a terrible end. this was a great book and a
definite must for roswell fans.

Summary: A Riveting Roswell Tale
Review: This is the best Roswell book I've read to date. The characters are true to the series, and the plot is fast-paced and well constructed. Bravo to Mr. Odom. I hope he contributes more to this series.

Summary: I can't believe Melinda Metz has allowed this!
Review: This series is apalling! I read the series Roswell High, by Melinda Metz, and was ecstatic when i found out they were making a tv show out of it. Well, after about two shows, i was sooo angry! They completely destroyed the entire story! These books are based on a bad tv show that is based on some awesome books. I don't understand why Melinda Metz would allow such a monstrosity to be connected to her series. This is completely ridiculous, and if you consider yourself a fan of all this, I highly suggest you read the real story, the one that was stolen and mutilated. It's far better than anything these ...wanna-be-writers could come up with. I only gave this a star because i had to in order to write the review.
