Summary: excellent,imaginative sorcery, and suspenseful
Review: I have read all three books of the merlin trilogy.I'm just a kid, but those books were excellent beyond words. My favorite one was rhe seven songs of Merlin. It talks about the growing of his powers, and his climatic confrontation with Balor.I would reccomend these books to anyone who loves magic.Plus,Stangmar, and Valdearg add a new problem to Merlin's challenges. Read these books!

Summary: The best wizadry book ever!
Review: The lost years of Merlin, by TA Barron is an excellent book. It is about a boy who is washed up on a shore one day and has no knowledge of what had happened to him in past years. He doesn't even know his own name! He is bruised and bleeding from the sharp jagged rocks of wherever he is. His attention goes to the moanings of another person who may have been washed up ashore also. Maybe even knowing his name! He followed the moand which led to a beutiful lady. As he was helping the lady up he noticed a wild boar who seemed ready to charge. He fled, almost forgetting the lady. He hid in the hollowes of an old tree. As he was in there with the lady a stag came out and defeated the wild boar, then left again.

Five years later he is in a hut and has the beutiful lady with him. Her name was supposedly Branwen. His name was supposedly Emrys. Branwen had many times told Emrys that she was his mother, but he never believed her. He asked many times what had happened before they were both washed ashore on this land, Gwynedd.

I'll leave the rest of the book for you to read, gotta go!

Summary: This book was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I really loved this book! It is action-packed and puts me on the edge of my seat. The only sad part was when one of the characters had to die.(I'm not telling who!)I can't wait to read "The Seven Songs of Merlin"! I hope it's as good as the first book.

Summary: This book is for anyone who loves fantasy or Merlin himself
Review: In this exciting book Merlin learns the true meaning of magic. Most of the time when I was reading this book I was on the edge of my seat. The charcter building and plot was excellent. In this book I learnt how each character felt. The book was very neatly spread out. Each character came in an unusual way, which is why I'm sure any fan of fantasy, wizards, celtic and druid myths, or Merlin himself will love this book. A must have for anybody

Summary: This was a very good book
Review: To me this was a very good book, it surprised me in some parts, made me sad in other parts, and always kept me on the edge of my seat. At the beginning it was ok but once you get into the later chapters, it becomes very interesting and thrilling.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Without a doubt one of the most spectacular books ever!
Review: A truly thrilling story which involves you not only in the plot but in the thoughts and feelings of the characters as well. A marvelous portrail of the legend of Merlin and a superb choice for a mode of escape from the world of today. Although magic plays a part in this story, it is not the sole element, whereas the development and growth of the characters intrigues moreso. This combination of fiction and reality helps add to the compelling nature of the book. A great find indeed!

Summary: I thought it was a very well written and exciting book.
Review: I have read The Lost Years Of Merlin and its sequel The Seven Songs Of Merlin and I thought they were both very well written books. They were always exciting on every page. You always wanted to see what happened next. There were some sad parts and happy parts but in order for you to know what those were you will just have to read the book yourself.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The most excellent sci-fi/fantasy book I've ever read.
Review: This book is great for those of you that are into Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Merlin, or magic, like I am. I thought this book was a very good take on Merlin's life before King Arthur. It takes real creativeness and imagination to come up with a great story like this, since nothing is known of his true past. Well, that's my review if anybody has got beef about it, than e-mail me.
