Summary: Sci Fi but classical - Great read!
Review: Zimbabwe, 2194, a military ruler's 13 year old son Tendai and his younger brother and sister leave their home and the safe arms of their parents landing in some of the most wildest adventures in this young adult Sci-Fi. They enter new worlds, meet wild people, are put in peril numerous times over and rekindle their African heritage.

Nancy Farmer has a always had expierence with African culture and history. This book would be recommened for anyone. Though it is a futuristic setting, the story basis is mostly past, our protagonist learns about his history and ancestry through it giving us, the readers and insightful view of the Zimbabwe history. In a way, it is timeless. Again, the morals are well shown and it would do a young adult good to read such a novel with history, suspense, sci-fi and humour. A great read for any day and anyone.

Summary: A pretty good book
Review: Towards the beginning it was a little boring, but once they go and explore the outside world they did not know it started geting better and better. When they kept getting in into bad situlations and getting kidnapped, that's when the best part happened because they have find a way back home. It shows how people in the past lived compared to them in the future.I think they should have a part 2 because this was a good book.

Summary: a great book
Review: I really liked The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm by Nancy Farmer. Although it is intended to be for older kids(grades 7-10) you can still appreciate the book if you are younger. The plot is interesting: set in Zimbabwe in 2194, 3 children, who happen to be the children of an important general, leave the safety of their mansion to go into the city alone. There they find mystery, action, and suspense. They are kidnapped, and the general hires a detective agency called The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm to find his children. This detective agency is made up of 3 men who all have special powers. Some of the characters are also very different: "The Mellower" , a man that is hired by the general's family to, uh..well... "mellow" them. There is the blue monkey, a genetically engineered monkey that can talk, and there is the "Elephant woman" , a lady that lives in a junkyard that contains toxic waste. With all the different characters and happenings, the story can get a bit confusing, but it's still a really good book. Read it!

Summary: The Ear, The Eye, And the Arm
Review: When I read The Ear, The Eye, And THe Arm I thought That It would be some boring folktale, but man was I wrong. The beginning was sort of boring, the middle was ok, the end was really cool! I really thought it was funny when Ear, Eye, and Arm went to Mrs. Horsepool-Worthingham's house and the robot answered the door, his head was tilted and the wheels were spinning. I wounder who did that, the She-Elefant of course. I liked the book and you would too, if you dont like it and you dont want to read it then you've made a big mistake pal, Dont judge a book by it's cover. I'am not going to tell you anymore of the book because I'll ruin the story!

Summary: The Ear the Eye and the Arm Reveiew
Review: The Ear the Eye and the Arm might not seem like avery interesting book. You'll probably think that the book title is boring so the book will be boring. Well at least that's what I thought. In the beginning of the book it might seem a little boring but the way his father treats his kids is unbelievable. All through the book it gets boring then exciting, boring then exciting. At the end of the book when the last and only gang left in Zimbabwe called the Masks catches the children it isn't too exciting since you'd think that the Masks would do something worse than what they did. My las comment about the book is that personally I think that the book was okay, it wasn't the best. If you don't have a clue to what I'm trying to say read the book!
