Summary: A futuristic novel full of suspence
Review: This is one of the best books I have read in a long while. It takes place in the Zimbabwe in the year 2194. It is a wonderful science fiction book ful of suprises and suspence. It has to deal with a lot of spirits and that makes it a little weird, but overall it is an amazing book.

Summary: It was one of the most creative books I have ever read
Review: I thought that the book I read was one of the most creative books I have ever read for a couple reasons. One of them is that almost all of the people in the book are mutants with special abilities. My other reason is that in the book there is this place where people come out of the ground and the air is toxic. There are also places where it seems like paradise.

Summary: A terrific book.
Review: This book was terrific! A mystery, with lots of suspense, action, and adventure. I love how each character has a specialty like one has a huge ear that can hear everything.

Summary: An overall good sci-fi for a reader who's into the future.
Review: This book was one of those science fiction novels that is really into how the future is going to be. It was kind of confusing --so it spent about ten pages on the appendix and glossary. The book is very strange, but it is possible, I guess. The author explained everything, so you can understand it. If you are going to read it, remember to keep an open mind about the future, because the future isn't aat all like a pictured. I think it is a cool book and would be okay for yonuger kids.

Summary: Awesome book!
Review: Once you get into it this book will take you away on a magic adventure you won't soon forget. I really liked it because it makes you think about how the world might be in the future. There are so many posibilities and this is only one of them. I liked this book because the message it gave me was: " Technilogical advances don't advance the human race." Which I think, is something we forget. It seems like the more advanced we become, technilocialy, the less we care about the people around us, and we then concentrate only on power. Anyway, The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm is a well writen book that has a lot of character, and I definentaly recomend you to read it.

Summary: A great read
Review: The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm is a wild adventure all over the streets of Harare. Nancy Farmer has vividly created Zimbabwe in the future with so much detail that it seems as real as New York of today. Meanwhile, this book keeps its sense of humor, making it very entertaining. You will not be able to put this book down. It's just as good as a non-children's book, and better than most. My only gripe is that the climax, with all the spirit stuff going on, got really weird.

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: I first started this book when my son told me about it. He was reading it in school and had read ahead to see the ending. He told me it was great. I picked up the book and read. Suddenely, I couldn't put it down. How it has to do with acient and modern Africa. I just simply enjoyed it. I read it to my other son and he quickly grabbed it and read it. I think the characters are the best part. From General Matsika to Mrs. Horepool-Worthingham, it is great. It reminds me of my trip to Africa but way different some how. I recommend this book to sci-fi readers and kids of the world. Happy reading!

Summary: This book is among my favorite 5!
Review: In Zimbabwae, 2194, General Matsika, head of the Zimbabwean military, has three children, which he coops up in his house. Why? He doesn't wan't them to get captured. The children, however, want to see the outside world so they escape...and are captured. Mr. Matsika hires three mutant detectives, Ear, Eye and Arm. Ear can hear very well, Eye has very good vision, and Arm has very long arms and legs and can read people's minds. The children are enslaved in a plastic mine, accused of witchcraft, and captured by a spiritual gang, the Masks. It will take the special abilities of the detectives and the help of the spirit of Zimbabwe to rescue the children and put their captors behind bars.
