Review: If you like science-fiction then I highly recommend this book called The Ear, The Eye,And The Arm by Nancy Farmer is the book for you. If you like the cartoon The Jetsons then you wuold enjoy this book. The setting takes place in 2194. General Matsika's world is an eerie place. Gangs are everywhere. Everything is pracyically run by robots in Africa, especiallyin General Matsika's house.The book starts as if there is no meaning to the tittle. The first few chapters start out pretty boring, but don't put it down, you should really keep reading it,because it gets even more interesting. The book is reallyb adventures. So pick up this book at your local bookstore and start reading it right away. I aalso put it as a five-star book. If you really like Harry Potter then this is also a book for you.

Review: Imagine a "future" world with strange looking people, blue monkeys talking and a lot of kidnapping. What if a blue monkey came and started talking to you? This is the place where Tendai, Rita, Kuda,Ear, Eye and Arm live. The main people in the story are The Ear, The Eye and the Arm. Ear, Eye and Arm are three detectives with strange powers. Tendai, Rita and Kuda are three kids who get kidnapped. Their father the General looks for them too. This place is filled with secret passages, tunnels and stairs. The kids are not happy or sad they just want to get home. They have to go through a lot of bad things. A lady in the book called She Elephant wants to sell them to a gang called the Masks. The kids have to find a way to escape.

Review: Imagine a big beautiful mansion, with robats running around doing chores for you. Having a meek mother and a military father. But if you have a string hanging from your clothes or your shirt tail hanging out you have to do push-ups, even Kuda, who is only four. If your never allowed to leave the house and if you did you would be severly punished. That's how it is at the Mastika's house.Tendai, 13 Rita, 11 and Kuda,four venture out of the house one day. Then the parents call the strangest detectives. The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm. Some how "the childern stay out of their reach", and go on many adventures, meet new friends and enemies and even risk their lives. Do the childern ever get home? Read this book and find out. I think the book is interesting and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Some of the book is weird but good.

Three kids lost from their family, end up in Dead Man's Vlei, Resthaven,the Mile-High MacIlwaine, and much more. What are these strange sounding places? Well you'll just have to find out in this exciting book called The Ear,the Eye and the Arm. Everyone I know who has read it has given it five stars ( five being the highest). So read this book ASAP or you are missing out on a lot!

Summary: Deformed detectives i a futuristic action book
Review: Imagine it was your first time out of your own home. Imagine you were let out to go exploring to get badges, and then, just like that, you were kidnapped. Wouldn't that be the most frightening, the most terrible thing that could ever happen to you, but unfortunatly that is what happened to General Matsika's three kids, and now it is up to the Ear the Eye and the Arm ot find them. I thought that The Ear The Eye And The Arm was a really exciting action-packed book. It kep tme wanting t know what happened next, and where the kids would end up. I also liked the crazy characters and how each one's personality was described. For instance blue monkeys: " genetically engineered creatures that can talk, that have the structure of a monkey with genes spliced from pit bulls and mean rotten humans". The thing that I did not like about the book was that at some points it went on with parts that were not exciting to me. The parts that I found boring was when there was not alot of interaction with the characters.

Review: Ever wonder what the future is like?Robots that work, flying cars and blue monkeys. Zimbabwe is in trouble, gangs walk freely a round the streets, only one man can do something about it, General Matsika. After getting rid of most gangs his kids wander away and are kidnapped. In fear that the masks-the only gang left-will get a hold of them he calls in the mysterious detectives Ear,Eye, and Erm each of them has there own powers. The detectives vow to retreve the children, but they are always just out of reach. Filled with action suspence-and for me frequent frustration-this is a great book for a young reader.

This amazing book will make you jump up in excitement when the great General Matsika's kids are kidnapped by mistake! This book will also make you laugh in joy about the lazy and definitely not responsible mellower I really enjoyed this book as well as Nancy Farmer's style of writing.

Follow Tendai, Rita and Kuda as they go through all kinds of adventures: scary, unusual, funny and surprising. When I first got the book I thought: Man! I'm never going to be able to read this boring book but after I read the first chapter I couldn't let the book out of my hands!
