Summary: The best book I've ever read ( really! )
Review: I just finished this book for the third time a couple of day ago. I just can't get over the amazing description O.T. put's into this book. The first time I read Girl Who owend a City, was about 4 months ago. It was interesting reading about the virus and how it effected the children in the world. I especially enjoyed Lisa's personality. She seemed to have such a wonderful way to look at life. Allways hopeful and thinking of ways to make their terrible situation better. I truely beleive she made a difference in the lives of the children of her city, because she's made a difference in mine.

Summary: Horrible, but thought-provoking...
Review: I read this in my lit class. I thought it was awfully-written and badly ended. There was like NO story! All little poor kids fighting and killing one another. Is that what would happen if the plague really occurred? probably. oh well. what can ya do? Isn't a conclusion supposed to tie up the loose ends? Well, this boook unties all the knots at the end, and leaves the reader bewildered, confused, and ANGRY!

Summary: I would have to say that this book is pretty darn good.
Review: If all the people over the age of 14 died off due to a highly impropable virus, it seems something like this situation would evolve in Chicagoland. I don't know about people outside of Chicagoland but this is a must read for anyone who lives near Glen Elynn. I don't know about all the political sidelines, but it is a good book to learn survival skills from and really makes you think how the world can be changed and if the next generation can handle power at an early age.

Summary: A Guide to Survival for Kids
Review: I loved this book. It was amazing. The author really gotten the picture across into my mind. This book could be helpful if you ever come across an emergency like that. I also think it was a very creative idea. I would love to be Lisa because she has no school but she is very smart.

Summary: A great book overall, powerful writing, fast-paced.
Review: You will never want to put this book down, the power and viscosity of the words and imagery generated by O.T. Nelson is uncomparable with any recent literature. It is inspiring and empowering, you will read it again and again.
