Summary: I have read my book to tatters
Review: I loved the plot of Dor going into the past, to help Millie the Maid in the present, in getting the one thing she most desired, true love, once again Mr Anthony has done it he has given us a romantic story with a twist. We see what war can do as well as the unpredictable talents can cause,he shows what jealousy can do and the heartache it can bring. I loved the way the hero handles the problems that are presented. I thought it real cool at how he got the harpies their prince, and the suprise when he got home when Grundy told him what happend to his body by the visiter and the joy he brought back to Millie was the highlight of the whole story I actually cried and its not very easy to get me to do that.

Summary: GREAT!!!
Review: I loved this book instantly. It may have been one of the few books that I've read that I think topped The Source of Magic. It just jumped straight into action while also explaining the past of Castle Roogna. I loved the suspense. I also loved Jumper. I liked all the irony in the book. It was ironic how the small goblins could cause so much destruction. It was ironic how Dor was saved by a "pest." It was ironic how Dor asked the Zombie King for a potion that would end up restoring the Zombie King himself. Both seiges were just awesome. I also loved Dor's wit. It was all out a GREAT book. I think everyone should read Piers Anthony when they get a chance to.

Summary: One of the most recognized titles in the Xanth series.
Review: I orginally picked up this book because of the castle on the front, and I was in that kind of mood. Castle is a relatively good book that at times relies on puns and sarcastic humor more than a plot line. It is best to read the Xanth novels in sequence so don't read this one until you have read the ones set chronically before it

Summary: Great series
Review: I started reading the Xanth series from Piers Anthony in seventh grade and frankly I hated reading but you know... if you want to pass you have to get major things done like BOOK REPORTS!!! yeah... I went to the library and this book caught my eye... i looked at the thing inside that tells what order the books go in but the first two books weren't there... so i got this one and i read till my eyes were about to burst. I STRONGLY recomend ANYTHING from this author especially the Xanth Series. great story lines and fun little puns. Ogre, Ogre was probably my favorite. After reading this book I read the first two... (A Spell For Chameleon and The Source Of Magic) and they seemed a little draggy... but still great books... YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY CHECK THESE BOOKS OUT!!!!!!!!!! they are the only books i'll read...(less i have to read something else for school). lol. Well... that's all i can say to convince you to check these books out... they are awesome.

Summary: Castle Roogna
Review: I think Castle Roogna is one of the best Xanth novels I have read. I couldnt put it down and was finished in only two days. Not only does it have adventure and thrills it also teaches us a little something about friendship and wisdom.

Summary: Why all the weird names
Review: I wrote in my review of a spell for chameleon that I didn't like the Bink name. Now we have more of the same old stuff about weird names. Dor? Roogna? What ever happened to Dave or Mike. Other than that the book was pretty good. It tells of a young prince's adventures in a tapestry. How this can happen in a tapestry is beyond me. Magic I guess. The main character he meets up with is a smart talking spider. He has many adventures and comes of age while helping to save the kingdom. This book impressively deals with many adolescent problems and is very exciting. This novel makes you remember what it was like back when you were growing up. I know I will never look at spiders the same way again. And dcn't be so quick to kill those flee's in your hair. This book is head and shoulders (no pun intended) above the rest of the fantasy genra.

Summary: YOU GOTTA READ THIS BOOK
Review: If you like fantasy, you'll like this, if you like reading period, you'll like this book, they just don't get any better than this! This is one of Piers Anthony's BEST. You must read this book, or suffer the concequences, namely, missing out on this great book.

Summary: it completes the other two books in the series together
Review: it is the best book I have read in the Zanth series. I definatly recomend it!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but not the best.
Review: Like all the other Xanth books, it was very very good. I personally liked the first ones better because they started off better. After you get farther into this book, Anthony really develops these characters and makes you really love the duo. I highly recommend it, but you should read the Xanth series in order.
