Rating: 3 stars
Summary: The good story continues on...
Review: Worthy of a fourth star, but once you get to Talismans where all the loose ends get tied, the story totally crashes.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Awesome Book
Review: I loved the Druid Of Shannara. The reading was very emotional at parts and I usually do not get that way with reading books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: diffenitly the best
Review: I have read all but one of the Shannara books, and I really think that this was the best of them all. I really liked the mysterious and rather dark personality of Walker Boh and I was kept interested throught he whole thing. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Well, somebody has to do it...
Review: Somebody, somewhere has to give the world it's fill of garbage novels, and Terry Brooks has been up to that task since his very first novel. Absolutely horrid, stay far, far away.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very good but a little slow
Review: This was an excellent book don't get me wrong i just don't believe it was as superior as the rest of his books. This book fits into the series quite well and is very impressive. I recomend this series to anyone who likes fantasy

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Almost a five star...
Review: This was the first book by Terry Brooks I had ever read. I started reading it but couldn't finish it after they entered Elwist. I had never not finished a book so I forced my self to finish it. And I was plesently surpised. The plot everntualy picked up and in the end turned out to be a very good book. Since then I've read all the Heritage of Shannara books and I really liked the series. I am currently reading The Elfstones Of Shannara, it also is a really good book. The only thing keeping The Druid if Shannara from being 5 stars is the middle, but if you can make it through it the ending is worth it. Just have a box of tissues ready!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Like all his other Shannara books, I couln't put it down!
Review: Terry Brooks has the ability to weave these wonderful stories that pull you in - you become part of the story. I have all his Shannara books and, to me, all are excellent. Brooks ranks right up with another favorite, J.R.R. Tolkien. I wish the Shannara story would never end.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fantastic!
Review: This is Brooks' second best, only to his original, "Sword". I loved it. Very rich in character, depth, plot, and pacing. Brooks shines in this novel. Ignore that trash he has released in the past couple of years. Read this. And read all his books leading up to "Druid". It doesn't disappoint.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This ranks as one of the best books in the Shannara Series
Review: Terry Brooks really does a great job in explaining the mindset of Walker Boh, Pe Ell and Morgan and Quickening. I find it really interesting that Terry Brooks can comment on a situation from so many different perspectives. The dramatic irony in this book is great. This is a must read

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best book I've ever read
Review: Walker Boh is "the man". The complexity of Brooks' mind and his ability to bring all the loose ends together for a monumental climax is astounding. I pray that the creator (Brooks) will awaken Boh soon. This is a must read novel.
