Summary: Among the Imposters
Review: I though the book, Among the Imposters was a great book. I like how the characters were explained and how there was good detail through most os the story. I also thought that there could of been some more detail to the characters and about the Herndix House for boys. While I was reading the book I didn't really like how at the beginning, how that Lee was with Rolly then, he's at his class. I really liked how the characters were described at the class. It gave me a funny picture in my head about kids rocking back and forward while i was read. I thought that the book went by fast, like when he was at class to he found the door to go outside. The part about when Lee went outside and started to make a garden, I really didn't like that part, it was kinda boring. When Lee went outside and found that his garden was ruined, he heard some kids talking. I thought that part was kinda boring too. When Lee goes inside that night to go to bed, He found Rolly talking on a phone with the "Population Police". Then right after that it seemed like the story was over, because then he went to a little house that was Mr.Hendrix's. I thought that this was a good book and i hope that there is another sequel to it.

Summary: Just like the first it makes you feel as if you are Luke
Review: I thought that the first one was thrilling so why not pick up the second....NO it was more then thrilling, it's sends you deep into Luke's mind and lets you know everything about what he's thinking. I began reading the first and second book in class, sence i am in 6th grade my teacher loved to read it to us, but when she'd stop at every chapter, we'd moan and say "READ MORE READ MORE". Luke is sent off to a strange school named "Hendricks school for boys", he's nervose, and suddenly has a regret to not staying home hidding. On his fake name, Lee Grant, who had died not soon before in a skiing accident. No one's telling him what classes to go to, what demerits are, and just about everything elase.....One day looking around for a class to go to he see's a door, a door thats unlocked, open, and it's to the outside. He's out there before he even knows it. H'es in freedom and thats the way he wants it to be. At night he's teesed and taunted by a boy he calls Jackal boy. But Luke descovers another secret that Jason him self might be another third child, and his gang there all third children to. But Jackal boys hidding something, something tarrfing, that Luke dosent want to know untill it's to late. Read....People.....red this book you need to, for me...for Luke....For Jen...for Margret.

Summary: Not as Great as Among the Hidden
Review: I was exited to be reading this book because I had loved Among the Hidden. Instead, I was disappointed. There was not enough dialoge to keep it interesting, and the beggining went way to slow. The door was too sudden, and it's not clear why the door is even in Hendricks School for Boys. I still think there should have been more info about Jason and Nina.( Why were they doing that anyway???) And Mr. Hendricks showed up way too suddenly, without much information. Even though I did not like this book, I still reccomend Among the Hidden. That book was much better. I definately do NOT reccomend Just Ella. That book was horrible.

Summary: Among the Imposters
Review: In the book Luke Garner goes to school to get away from the population police because he is a third child, which is when you have more then two kids in a family then you could be dead. If Luke doesn't get out of his house and away from his parents he will endanger him and also his parents. If his parents get caught wth him then they could also get an execution or have a huge fine. Luke changed in the story by being a being scared a little boy to a bigger, more mature person who can take care of himself. He also would help other people get to safety.

Summary: Even better than among the hidden!
Review: Luke gardener is on his way to hendricks school for boys. He meets a kid named jackel boy. Jackel boy is very mean.
At the end he makes a interesting discovery about the other boys at school, especilly Jackel boy. I think this book is a five star book. I like it very much. This would be a good book for kids who like mystery books.

Summary: It just gets better
Review: Margaret Peterson Haddix does it again with the sequel to Among the Hidden. Luke, now Lee, arrives at a school where no one seems to notice him, especially the teachers. How odd to spend one's life in fear of being discovered, then finding out no one cares to discover you at all. But it doesn't stop there. The school itself is odd, with no windows, and the students are equally strange- some bullies, other withdrawn. Soon, Luke discovers the school isn't all it's meant to be. Well written, easy to read, and equally frustrating in the ending as the first. Thank goodness Margaret Peterson Haddix has agreed to seven books in this series. I hear the next is Among the Betrayed. If you are a Haddix fan, this is a must read.

Summary: Among the Imposters
Review: Margaret Peterson Haddix has done it again! Among the Imposters is an exciting book that refuses to be put down. As a sequel to Among the Hidden it rates very highly. Many sequels often lose some of the power that the original book portrays, however Among the Imposters not only is an excellent story in its own right, it also readies the reader for the next installment in the series. Third children in this future society are not allowed. In fact families are closely monitered by the Population Police. However many third children secretly exist. Luke, our protagonist in this story, is a boy that has lived in secret with his parents for all of his life. The discovery that other third children exist is new to him. He is helped by a neighbor and former father of a third child. Luke is given a new identity and is enrolled in a private school. At first Luke lives in terror that he will be discovered. But as time goes on he realizes that all is not as it should be in this school. The author surprises the reader with many suspense filled twists in the plot that keep you guessing until the end. Students and teachers in my school were so enthralled with Among the Hidden that they are lining up for the opportunity to check out Among the Imposters. As the librarian, it will be my challenge to keep this series current!
