Summary: Homecoming Series is an excellent work by Card
Review: I started the Homecoming series doubting it could top the Ender series. But what I found is a rich and compelling story, filled with spiritual significance. The Memory and Earth and the Homecoming series is brilliant writing and amazing integration of a creative story, strong character development, and deep themematic elements.

Summary: The main character seems more real to me than even Ender.
Review: I loved this book. Perhaps it is because I read the whole series and think the main character, Nephai, is THE most memorable character I've ever read about. My rating is largely based on the fact that this is the first in a series of books that I've NEVER forgotten. The series is amazing and the first in the series sets you up for a journey back to earth in a battle for the survival of the human race and the success of a plan that was designed by the ancient survivors of a fallen planet, earth.

Summary: Another great one by Card
Review: This is one of the best books that I have ever read. I am a huge fan or Orson Scott Card and when I read this book, it surprised me to find that alot of it was Nephi's story from the book of Mormon all over again. I reccomend this book to anyone.

Summary: Book of Mormon?
Review: In this book, Card turns the book of Mormon into a Scifi novel of incredible breath. Seriously. Check it out.

Summary: Wow
Review: I have read the Ender series by Card and was a bit disappointed, because it seemed to get really boring towards the last couple of books. This series however is nothing like. The first book get syou going and you've got to keeep on reading

Summary: The beginning of an exciting science fiction ride
Review: Card gives us the first of four very good volumes in a five book science fiction series. Basilica is a wonderful world and the characters that we meet will gain depth and develop over the series. Card is sometimes slow and tedious in his plot advancement. I liken his writing to a journey in which each step is mundane, but when taken one after another, cover long distances and present vista after vista.

Buy it, read it, and then get the next three volumes. Then read the reviews before purchasing volume five.

Summary: Unique...
Review: Orson Scott Card is a great story teller. It is readable and the plot is great. Though i have to agree the most of the forshadowing in the book is directed to books written later in the series which was quite dissapointing to me when reading this book, for i was caught on a cliff hanger. It did not finish enough of the plot for me, though now i will have to finish the rest of the books just because i want to find out what happens...

Summary: Great for anyone
Review: I enjoyed this book very much...the charactors were GREAT...they were complex and easy to relate to. The setting was original, yet not hard to imagine. The whole plot fit together so nicley. I just finished the second in this series, and it is ven better! I look forward to reading 3. I think whoever said that the plot doesnt make scence has to be like 6 years old because it made perfect sence to me and I'm only 13!

Summary: A GREAT START IN ANOTHER SERIES WHICH LOOKS VERY PROMISING.
Review: A PROMISING BOOK OF HOPEFULLY MANY TO COME. WITH EXQUISITE INSIGHT AND FEELING, CARD WRITES WITH VIGOR IN THIS BOOK. LIKE 'ENDER'S GAME', HE USES POINT OF VIEWS FROM EXTREMELY INTELIGENT CHILDREN. HIS IDEALS OF MAN'S FAR PAST IS ALMOST FRIGHTENING.

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: This was the best book I have ever read! It took me two days to finish it, and belive me I was reading it hours and hours on end unable to put it down. The charecters were amazing! They were so real. Among them all Nafai, Issib and Luet were my favorite! I am always disipointed when I read other books because they end so short, but with this book you have FIVE action pact books that will blow your mind away. The cast of charecters are so complex and easy to relate to you will think you've known them all your life. I just got the hole series today and cant wait to finish them all! This was an over all fantastic novel and I recomend it to anyone and everyone!
