Summary: great reading
Review: It's just like Asimov. He creates a plot so thick, and in the last chapter, it take a turn of 360ยบ degrees. This book is awesome.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best SciFi's I have ever read!
Review: This is the first book by Asimov i have read, and I was not disappointed. This book was completely enthralling, and I coundn't put it down! The ending was wonderful- it had me guessing until the last moment. I can't wait to read the other Foundation novels!

Summary: An excellent beginning to the Foundation series!
Review: I've read some of Asimov's other books, and admit I was sometimes confused or bored, but this book was a non-stop thrill ride! I couldn't put it down, almost finishing the whole thing in one day! One of the best I've read in a long time.

Summary: Wonderful intro to a true master of science and fiction!
Review: This is the first Asimov book that I read, and I absolutely loved it. Of course, my husband won't let me read the foundation books until I had read the robot books. Now, I have to find the empire books. My goodness, I'm going to have to read this one again before I ever find out what the foundation is all about. I can't get enough, though, and have enjoyed all the books that I have read by him(science fiction and science fact). Thank you Isaac Asimov for making science so much fun. I can't pass up a single book that I see that Asimov has written, and I have loved them all. Don't miss out! Hmmmm.... husband's asleep, maybe, I will sneak and read Foundation finally.

Summary: Absolutely Excellent!
Review: Ever since I've read this book, I have never passed an opporuntiy to read any Issac Asimov books that I have come accross. A must read if you haven't read it, a must buy if you don't own it, and a must read again if you already own it

Summary: Nothing but great!
Review: It was my first Asimov's book, and I think it had been a very good choice. Now I'm starting Forward the Foundation, and I'd like it to be like its previous in the Foundation Saga. Either you like science fiction or not, you may try read this beutiful book, written in a very simple but deep scientific language. Don't loose time...buy it!!! Ciao Alex

Summary: Great Book
Review: Great book for any Foundation fan. Read them chronologically though because this one can spoil some surprises from other books in the series.

Summary: A much needed look into the world of Hari Seldon
Review: I picked this up before I went to the beach, because I needed something absorbing. All the books I had planned on reading were checked out, so I had to reach a little for some material. I remembered reading Foundation about a summer ago, and I also remebered that there I had found out later about two "prequels" to Foundation. I am always a little leary of books like this, out of suspicion that they won't be as good as the rest of the series because the author published them only to get more money out of the books. Obviously, I hadn't read enough of Asimov's essays or his biography to know how far beneath him that would be. Both of these books (Prelude and Forward) are just as good if not better than the rest of the Foundation books. He caught me by suprise more than a couple times, and I thought I was a seasoned reader! I highly recommend it to anyone.
