Summary: Outstanding !
Review: Well I finished Enders Game about a week ago and Enders Shadow about two days ago, and WOW... they were both outstanding. Mr. Card shows perfactly how one thing can look completly different and yet still the same through different eye's . Bean is a great char. this book is more emotional than Enders Game, and almost, almost almost (by a very small margin) as good . a must for any scifi fan .Outstanding!

I recently re read the Ender and Bean series' and they are still on the top of my must read sci fi list.

Summary: Great Book (doing my review again)
Review: This book was great. I enjoyed it even more than the original Ender's Game. I have always liked Speaker more than Ender's Game but Ender's Game and Shadow are both enjoyable reads. It may not have been 100% true to the original story but it doesn't have to be. Card found an interesting way to bring life to Ender again and it was great going back to that world.

Summary: LOOKING FOR MY OLD PAPERBACK COPY OF ENDER'S GAME
Review: Like just about everybody who's read ENDER'S SHADOW, I too, am trying to find my old paperback copy of ENDER'S GAME to read again. I bet I loaned it to somebody and never got it back. Anyway, ES is as good if not better (I should wait for my reread of EG before going that far) than EG.

The logic behind Bean's motives is impeccable yet eminently readable. Since Bean is the brightest of the bright, I found myself looking for some mental faux pas in the logic. There were none worth mentioning. I also enjoyed Sister Carlotta, the Nun of the future and thought that Card, a Mormon, handled her with just the right amount of grace and humor.

It should be fun to see Peter, Valentine and Bean vying for postwar power in a future sequel.

Summary: Verry Refreshing
Review: Ender's Shadow is a verry refreshing to read after having to read Card's books in between Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow. Not as good as Ender's Game but verry close to it.

Summary: Taking the "Game" to a whole new level
Review: Absolutely amazing. "Ender's Shadow" opened up new corridors into the Battle School realm. Bean never disappointed me with his genius. From taping into the very essence of the game to revealing how Ender worked. This book was through and through breath taking, a must for sci-fi fans. This masterpiece left me in awe, and wanting more. Hurry up Orson!

Summary: Just as good if better then Enders Game!
Review: I loved this book.I read it in one day. The books is one of my favorites. At firdt i thought it would just be a spin off.Boy was i wrong. One of the best thing about Orson Scott Card is that he creates the most believable characters. Not the really super smart part but that you share their thoughts and feelings. I recomend this book to anyone who loved any of OSC books!

Summary: More Parallel Novels Please ---------------- unique concept
Review: The best science fiction book since ENDERS GAME

The rest of the books in the series were hardly worth reading

Now lets hear the same story from Peters point of veiw then maybe Vals!

Summary: Deeper message in Ender's Shadow
Review: I found this book to be even better than "GAME." The characters were all developed more fully than in the first. This new book alludes to Biblical themes with great success. Of course nothing could beat the thrill of the surprize ending of "GAME" But the climax of "SHADOW" is just as powerful in its own way.

Summary: Ender's Shadow - Very Satisfying
Review: It would be a mistake to consider this book childish in orientation. Neither is it too repetitive of "Ender's Game" to be interesting. Card has continued to break away from the reader's expectations of this series. Bean's point of view into what happened during Ender's Game alone would make this novel worthwhile. The background into the under-developed Bean character in the original makes this exceptional. Let me remind you that Ender's perception of Bean during the climactic battles was that Bean couldn't handle large groups of ships, but could use small groups like a scalpel. The new book makes this ultimately believable by showing us that Bean was actually distracted by trying to keep an eye on the entire battle in case he had to take over for Ender. This is only one example, and this effect doesn't detract from the original, it deepens the impact of a book that is often, mistakenly, classified as a "young adult" novel. Remember a book is not necessarily childish simply because the main characters are children.
