Summary: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Armageddon...
Review: Welcome to Good Omens, quite posfibly the most hilariouf book since the Paginarum Fulvarum. What makes Good Omens such a funny book is its attention to detail. From the copywrite page ("Kids! Bringing about Armageddon can be dangerous. Do not attempt it in your own home.") to the mini author bios ("He likes people to buy him banana daiquris (he knows people don't read author biographies, but feels this might be worth a try).") this book will keep you tripping over small gags that quickly add up to one huge good time. Good Omens can be read on many levels, and the deep philisophical ponderings on the ineffability of God go down as smoothly as the Star Wars references

Summary: The most hilarious book on the subject matter...
Review: Wow! This book was simply wonderful! The story is amazingly complete and completely amazing. It is humourous science fiction at its best. I really loved this book. Anyone who doesn't like this book should go right out and buy a sense of humour

Summary: Hilariously philosophical
Review:

This book is histerical. As a previous fan of Neil Gaiman, I can say he did not let me down one bit. He took the coming end of the world, prophesy, and religion and added a wonderful twist. I like to compare the style of writing almost to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, another wonderful series. This book will make you think and let you laugh histerically as well

Summary: Pure Genius
Review: Gaiman and Pratchett know their stuff. This book is sophisticatedly FUNNY! All the characters are beautifully written.

Let's face it, writing an evil character that is funny is (relatively) easy. Gaiman and Pratchett have done a beautiful job making all the minions of Hell a great laugh. But making an angel funny is almost impossible, but Gaiman and Pratchett succeed beyond my wildest expectations. Azariphale is wickedly hilarious.

This book must be owned for repeated readings. I have just finished it for the 5th time.

Summary: A damn funny read!
Review: Two of the most brilliant (or was that twisted?) authors of our time collaborate to release one of the funniest novels I've ever read. Pratchett gets the credit, wrongly, for most of the humor in the novel. Much of it is Pratchett, but any fan of the Sandman comic books will recognize many snatches of Gaiman's twisted sense of humor. Recommended for fans of either author

Summary: Warning: This book contains humor!
Review: This is not a book you want to carry onto an airplane with you. To be honest, this is not a book you want to read in /any/ public place, unless you mind being looked at strangely. This book, you see, is funny. Very funny. Hysterically funny. Funny enough that it will have you laughing aloud despite yourself, even if you're /not/ familiar with the various areas they are referring to. Even the endnotes and author blurbs are funny (no joke!)
Fans of Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman alike will find this book suffused with their usual zany humor, footnotes and all. Where else can you get the Antichrist lost and have an angel and demon in cahoots with each other to find him? Where else can you find such satire interwoven into a story rife with a madcap plot? Here, definitely.
Highly recommended, even if you're not into the whole fantasy scene -- this book requires an appreciation of humor and the desire to laugh, so sit back, open a page and enjoy it while it lasts. And keep it handy for when you need a smile.

Summary: It's the best book I ever read
Review: Some time ago I got hold of a German copy of this book by chance. It is not a very well known book over here but I loved it immediately. It leads you to your worst nightmares and keeps you laughing till you reach the other side. You can read it 10 times or more without getting bored. This book is likely to be a cooperation between god and the devil and the result is entirely human. So better get yourselves a copy

Summary: four horsemen, five stars
Review: Apocalypse-a-go-go! With the end of the world scheduled for this weekend, the forces of good and evil are ready for the semi-final battle. Except they've misplaced the Antichrist, the four horsemen have groupies, and the emissaries of light and darkness have decided that maybe it would be better to postpone the apocalypse. Gaiman and Pratchitt work a tremendous juggling act, and at the end of the book, every ball finds its place. How does the mind responsible for the Sandman come up with a book this flat-out funny? Perfect examples of writing from pacing to characterization. Read it. You'll be glad you did

Summary: I lafed, I cryedd- Agnus Nutter
Review: This has to be one of the top ten funniest books I've ever read! I caught myself laughing out loud and getting odd looks but I couldn't have cared less. This is definitely one to read again and again. An instant classic. I hope it becomes a movie someday, it would surely give Monty Python and the Holy Grail a run for its money

Summary: British Armagedon: 5 o'clock tea & bisquits
Review: If the Brits would have written the Bible, there would be no BEAST or Armagedon, or even the blood of christ, just a few guys founding a comedy club and having 5 o'clock tea & bisquits. Good Omens is defenetly the funniest apocalypse ever written. I love the way the characters refer to the outhor's metaphors, and you don't realy care wheater or not the angle & the deamon wiil beat the 4 riders to the antichrist, as long as you'll have a good lough while they're trying. The only fault in this book is the many repetitions - I mean, how meny songs did F. Mercury sing??
