Rating: Summary: Graceful and thoughtful sci-fi Review: I've read Ender's Game a number of times and it never ceases to impress me. I'm not really even a sci-fi lover, but the writing, in its style, is impressive and Card creates characters rather than charicatures or parodies. This book poses genuine questions without falling into the trap that some sci-fi does of making everything really "futury" and giving alternate names to every aspect of human life in the future. It is a fine book
Rating: Summary: This book manipulates and dehumanizes; it is an empty book. Review: Before considering reading this, I think that one should
look to Norman Spinrad's review of it as it appeared
in Issac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. Failing that,
at least realize that the entire book is a deliberate button-pushing saga, following the patterns of human
mythology that are older then history, in a completely
manipulative way. Read Frank Herbert and you'll see that he
wants to show the emptiness of the Messiah complex; Card
celebrates it. Herbert wants to explore what humanity is
about; Card wants to explore how much money it has.
Rating: Summary: Ender's Game is right up there w/ the greats Review: This is one absolutely excellent book! In my oppinion, this is right up there with Dune and the Foundation Trilogy. Definitely read this book if you have any interest in SF, military theory, or even plain human nature. Forget the rest of the series, though.

Rating: Summary: An ultimate "Game Player's" book Review: I read this book before the explosion of electronic games,
and although I am not a Game Player, it offers anyone who
is into games a kind of "Gee, what if I could do this with my games" scenario.
For everyone else, a fun, fast read. Once I got into it I went through it in one night and then spent several weeks reading every Orson Scott Card I could get.
Rating: Summary: A must own Review: Ender Wiggin one of the most intelegent people ever born. He is manipulated at every turn. Pushed to the limits of mind and body. You will feel his suffering and experience his triumph as he prepares to defend the human race
Rating: Summary: Xenophobic world creates its greatest leader...and victim. Review: Ender's Game is the first (and best) in a series about Ender, a young boy bred to be a leader in a society where more than two children is illegal. An alien race, insect-like possessing a hive mind (sound familiar? see The Madness Season), has attacked Earth, and we live in fear that they may strike again, even though it was decades ago. Ender, a child of the state, is drafted into this war, and he is forced to survive a bitter and difficult life in military school. His sister and brother (his brother Peter seems to be based on a popular killer, who dissected roadkill in his backyard), take over the Earth while he's away at war - an idea that's doesn't sound so silly when you read how they manipulate the internet society. True genius at work, Ender's greatest triumph and worst tragedy make for a powerful ending. Once you're done reading it, put it down and read something else unrelated - the rest of the series doesn't carry as much of a punch.
Rating: Summary: Amazing! It's the best sci fi book I've ever read ! Wow! Review: Enders Game is brilliantly written! Never before have I read a book that has had this great an influence and impact on its readers; its made me challenge and rethink my opinions.
Card perfectly balances intense excitement with intelligent issues that leave you thinking for months! I've read Enders Game 5 times and am always sad to reach the end.
This novel is packed with alien invasions, revenge, war, and battles. Although for those who like the sentimental novels there are also many heart-rending moments
which tugs at the heartstrings of everyone. The action of this novel draws the readers in while the tender moments keep the story of Enders Game forever in the memory and hearts of readers everywhere.
Anyone who would rate this book any less than 9 must be reading it upside down with their eyes closed. :)
Rating: Summary: An absolute must read for any sci-fi fan. Review: This is a very intense story about a boy who is trying to do the right thing, while being manipulated by his military masters. Ender is a boy genius that is being trained to command the thrid and final war between Earth and an Alein race. Ender Wiggin is one of the truest characters to come out of science fiction in years. A masterpeice for Card
Rating: Summary: Brilliant! Card's finest yet. Review: The intersteller battle domes, the armies of teens and
children, and the brilliant aray of technology incorperate
together to make one of the best books for adults and
children written this decade. The story of a boy passing
into manhood is, in my opinion, one of, in not, the best
novels in Sci-Fi.
Rating: Summary: An exellent story Review: I really enjoyed this book. It seemed in parts to extend some points lendthily, although not unnecesarily. I would suggest this book to anyone as a book you will not be able to put down
