Review: I think Ender's Game is one of the best Si-Fi book I've ever read. In fact it was my very first one. I can feel his emotions as I read. A VERY intense book. I loved it.

Review: This is the book that you can't forget; it has been close to 3 years since I read it and I can still remember the book like I'm still reading it. You know you have read a good book when the book makes you want more and more, Ender's Game did that and more. I can't say enough, the whole book made me feel like I was there, training along side with Ender, being a member of The Dragons, and all of the other events that made this book the best I have ever read. The scale says ten is best, but no, I give it an 11, and I might even be under grading it. OSC really did a number for this book.

Summary: A classic of our time
Review: There are few books which I would hazard to call a modern-day classic, but Ender's Game is most certainly one of those few. This book, based on a short story which Card wrote very early in his career, tells the story of the three Wiggin children; each of the three is blessed with a phenomenal intellect and an ability to understand the very essence of others. The eldest, Peter, is far too violent, using his ability to his own ends. Valentine, the middle child and sister, is the very model of compassion. Andrew, the youngest, is a nigh perfect fusion of his siblings. The novel follows the youngest Wiggin on his journey through the military system which was designed to produce geniuses to fend off the alien menace which had twice before threatened humanity. When Ender, as Andrew calls himself, fights, he fights so that his opponents will never hurt him again, and he would do anything to protect Valentine from the "Buggers" when they next invade, including offering his childhood on an altar to the gods of war. Card's characters are alive and vibrant as in few other novels I have read, and he weaves a touching and insightful story of innocence lost, brilliance realized, and the atrocity of war. Few other novels deserve the appellation "page turner" as much as Ender's Game, and anyone who purchases this book must be certain to begin reading only when they have a solid three hours available. They will likely be unable to stop reading.

Summary: Good Book - Must read whole series!!!
Review: I thought this book was one of the best OSC has produced. Being an avid reader of his, I can say this is one of his best works. I read this work in 1988, and have continued through the saga through to the end. He uses a lot of current issues in a abstract sort of way in his writings.

Review: This book was a book that made me glad that I learned how to read. There are so many trashy books out there but as long as there are books like this, I will keep reading. I love it so much that I read Ender's Game at least once a month. Thank you Dad for introducing me to it.

Summary: Card is Sci-fi at its best
Review: For those of us who have followed Card avidly (since his publication of "Anaccompanied Sonata" in Omni) this is probably his best novel. Fear of the Other, stolen youth, fights, death, action, genius...it's all in here. Card is the Man when it comes to cogent, thoughtful sci-fi that also just happens to be an astoundingly good read.

Review: Ender's game is a book of stolen childhood and ultimate conquest. The two rarely stand side-by-side, but in this book, they are woefully together. This is the masterpiece of a book. Every other book should be held up to this book as an example of how great a book can be. Ender's game is a complex study of the adolescent mind. Card brings this out in a way that has yet to be done by another author. If every other book were to be judged by this one, they would fall all too short. A masterpiece. A bravura read. It is the best book ever written. Period!

Review: Ender seemed to develop his own personality during the book. I feel like I know him after reading this book. The Giant game seemed to be a true view of technology in the future. Ender is the SUPER SCI-FI HERO of the 20th century. THIS SHOULD BE A FILM . IT WOULD BE A BOX OFFICE HIT AND MAKE MILLIONS.
