Summary: The best book I've ever read.
Review: This book is worth reading 4 times. It not only has action, but it goes into Ender's mind, his inner thoughts and feelings. A must read book.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read!
Review: Six year old, Andrew (Ender) Wiggin is selected by the Starways Congress for special military training at an elite military school. As a kid genius he surpasses all their expectations in the war-games that he participates in and eventually commands in. But unknown to him, while is playing these "games" he is actually controlling something much greater than he knows.

Summary: The Best Book I've ever read !!!
Review: I could not put this book down - and have re-read it over 4 times already. The story of Ender and all of humanity is so compeling you can't stop. The second and third books are a little slow though.

Summary: One of the better books I've read in a long time...
Review: I started to read Ender's Game on accident, but once I started getting into the plot of the story I found it very intriguing. After a while I found it to be my all-time favorite book of any category. The story really hit close to home since Ender Wiggin really reminded me of myself in a multitude of ways.

For some of the lower reviewers complaining about the unrealistic comparisons of a six year old behaving as an adult, let me guarantee you that this DOES HAPPEN! At age six I was more of an adult than I am now at the age of 18. Not to mention, it is a Science-FICTION book. The author has the creative right to use whater means necessary to convey his message. (Which I personally think in this case was a good choice!)

Second, for those complaining about the political aspects of Peter and Valentine and their conquest of the world via the Web, I would have to agree that it is a bit more outlandish for my tastes. However, the overall effect of the main carachter and the! brilliant potrayal of society's influence in mainupaling him should hit very close to home for us all. Rest assured it won't answer "Why are we here?" the book should raise some questions about ourselves.

All-in-all Ender's Game is a good book, but it should be taken for it's deeper valuse and not it's attention-grabbing quality. Although it is midly entertaining, you must dredge through it to get the full impact of the book.

However, a word of CAUTION! Ender's game is a good book in itself but I would not recommend continuing the Ender Saga unless you are a diehard Orson Scott Card fan (like me) and enjoy his writings.

Summary: I Praise this book.
Review: it is very possible that this is the best book I have ever read. but for that matter it may the best book ever. it is a wonderful book with a great twist at the end.

Summary: Ender's ability to read people's motives was exciting!
Review: Ender's Game is about a child genius who goes through tough training to save the world. Each character's contribution made this book interesting and fun. Each person Ender encountered presented a challenge, hindrance, or help to the moral strength of Ender. A must read!

Summary: Great book. Keep this in mind:
Review: Some of the reviews mention this book being somewhat unrealistic where a 6 year old is a phenomenal military leader. What you have to keep in mind is that books are not written about losers, or even the common man. If you wanted to experience an average person's story and actions, you could just wake up in the morning and pay attention to what you do. I've read the Ender series a few times through, and maybe I'll do it again. After all, softcover copies for all are on my bookshelf.

Summary: A Must Read.
Review: I was reading Card's book, "How to Write Science Fiction and Fantasy," and he often alluded to techniques he used in one of his books, "Ender's Game." I went out and bought it, and WOW. It was truly fantastic. I recommend it to all, and I can't wait to read the sequel, "Speaker for the Dead"!

Summary: THE book if you are trying to get a non-reader to read.
Review: I first read Ender's Game on the recommendation of my brother in 1986. I am a constant reader, but Ender remains the single best book, of any genre, I have ever read. Don't misunderstand. This is a very simple book to read with very simple concepts, yet a powerful theme and message. I can recommend few books to all ages, but I have seen this one become the favorite of 8 year-olds and 80 year-olds.

Science fiction? Well sort of, but that would scare some folks off. It's the characterization in Ender's Game that gets you hooked and keeps you hooked.

Plot? Leaders of Earth search for the admiral of the fleet that will fight the coming invasion. Even at light speeds the invasion is years hence, so they have time to find a very young genius and train him with a series of games. The kid is Ender. He is very good at games.

Read this book.
