Rating: Summary: ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT BOOKS, YOU NEVER STOP READING IT Review: This is a great, This is what they should be reading in School instead of TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD, this is interesting and I'm positive that the teachers and students will love it
Rating: Summary: Both what you would and wouldn't expect from Card Review: Wow! A must read for any SF fan. It is written with the same masterful style and depth Card is loved for. However, it is also one of the best military SF books I've ever read! Card rarely launches into military writing, but this books leaves no doubt that he has the ability to do so. I would like to see more!
Rating: Summary: 5 stars? 5 billion stars!! Review: Ender's Game is definitely one of the best books I've read in a long time! Card actually had me believing that a child accomplished all that he did. I felt at many parts as though I *was* Ender. I felt what he was feeling. And when the book was over, I just wanted to read it again and again and again and... well you get the point. I just discovered here at Amazon that there are sequels! I'm gonna read them if I get the chance. Hopefully they'll be just as brilliant as Ender's Game. Again, what a great book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ!!!! Review: I read this book a couple of years ago, recommended to my by my genius cousin. I must say that out of the thousands of of books I've read, this is the best yet, and I'm not even an avid science fiction reader. It's a masterpiece......look at the other reviews.....need I say more!!!!
Rating: Summary: WELL CRAFTED STORYTELLING, CAPTIVATING PLOT, A GREAT READ! Review: Let's face it, Ender's Game isn't Gatsby, nor is Card Fitzgerald. However, what he is, and what this book is, is a carefully and craftily written look at much more than simply one smart little boy. It is mysterious and suspensful while simultaneously sad. Whether advertantly or in advertantly Card makes a statement on war itself and proves that Sci-Fi can be both poignant and introspective, without being overly didactic. E.G. will prove to be timeless in the realm of Science Fiction.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I ever read Review: My copy of "Ender's Game" is totally worn out because I gave this book away so many times, and everyone agreed that this book is one of the best. I also suggest to only read this book with an alarm watch set because you cannot stop. I keep telling people the (true) story that I stood inside my room, just flipping to the pages again and immediately got hooked even though I had read it before: I only noticed that I was reading it again for more than 3 hours when it got dark outside and I couldn't see anything anymore. Read it, whether you like SciFi or not - this is own of the best.
Rating: Summary: Well written and not predictable Review: I was told that i should read Ender's Game because it was a very good book. I thought at the time that it would be a so-so book. Iam VERY picky about the books i read. I don't like most books i read, but when i read Ender's Game, i knew i had found one i liked. I can right about how good it is and say, "I could never put it down," which i couldn't, but i think that is a waste of time. If you have read the book then you know how good it is. If you haven't, you will some day. That's all i have to say. -Burgain
Rating: Summary: This book is the greatest ever written in any genre Review: I have read this book and i do not see how some people can criticize this book. For people who say that Ender is too young to exhibit the characteristics he does, I say that there is no reason to believe that. After a person develops thought, there is no reason that he or she can't think like an adult. This book deserves all of its praise and none of its criticism. A definite for anyone who wants to read a great book that does not get boring after being read many times.
Rating: Summary: Un-deniably the best Review: For lack of a better word this book is perfect, it's by far the best book I've read. It shows how strong and bright children can be. Card is a genius.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book. Interesting from the beginning to the end. Review: Enders game is an excellent story that makes you think about what might really happen in the future, if and when we ever make contact with alien life forms. Ender's game is also an exciting sci-fi war type book. The idea of the zero-g battle room is excellent. Card is very superb in his writing.
