Rating: Summary: Very good book Review: I thought that this book was very good. The character development of Ender was good. The other characters are not described as thoroughly as necessary. There were some concepts and issues that could have been better tackled had the book been a little longer. This is my first Sci-Fi book. Generally I read more fantasy. I thought it was very good and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good adventure.

Rating: Summary: Ender's Game is the best Science Fiction Book of All Time. Review: Ender's game is the best science fiction book of all time. It is relational, where many science fiction books are based on some lone figure, who has anti-social tendencies. This makes it exciting and appealing to a larger audience of readers. This book forshadows the future, and I think that it quite possible that the responsibilities and power of the very young will directly affect the direction of world politics. On the internet, the younger you are the more likely you are to understand and control the changing technology. Ender's game is a book that can be read over-and-over again, without tiring. It is a remarkable, timeless piece of science fiction.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Effort From A Brilliant Author Review: At first, I only read Ender's Game because it was part of the requirements for my English course. Now I thank myself for being in that class! Enders Game is an innovative masterpiece from that wonderful author, Orson Scott Card. It thoroughly examines the life of a particular unpopular boy named Ender, his tough training in Battle School and his endearing relationship with his sister Valentine. Never before have I read such a dramatic and well-scripted science-fiction book. The characters were very believable and at times one felt they could connect with Ender. Card should be congratulated for this novel and commended for a great effort. Anyone with a liking for science-fiction books should read this book.
Rating: Summary: absolutely spellbinding!!!!!!!!! Review: Absolutely the most mind juggling, can't put down book. I've read it 4 times and it still is the most exciting book I've ever read! I was always looking for a book that had enough action in it for my tastes, and Ender's Game is the only one that got there. I'll admit, it was a little violent and times, but that's life. His use of relationships to carry the action is absolutely the most phenomenal I have ever seen.
Rating: Summary: this is my favorite leisurely read Review: This book contains every aspect of the so-called "Great American Novel." The only pejorative thought which enters into my mind concerning this book is the fact that it is in the science-fiction genre. not that I have anything against science fiction, to the contrary I enjoy it. It's just sad that such a great book is over-looked by so many who would, of this I'm certain, thoroughly LOVE this book just because of the often overlooked section of the book store where it's found.
Rating: Summary: What? Ender's thoughts and dialougue unbelieveable? Review: I've been reading the reviews, and of course, I have to mentioned how much I loved this book, and I thought it was great! But one thing I didn't understand - how can the way the children act be unbelievable? I don't think the people saying that have ever been around children, or really looked at their own chirldren and the way they think. There are many types of children in this world, most, granted, don't talk like Ender and his sibs, but I grew up in a family with four older boys, and we always talked like that. No, we didn't quite discuss how to rule the world, but we did understand exactly what was happening, what we ourselves would do to fix it, and we talked about it and discussed it with those around us. I think many adults have lost track of what it's like to be a child. Children do not think differently than us, they have no less ability to understand and comprehend, they simply have not had the exposure to life as many adults have. You may think children like Peter don't exsist, but I've met them. I've met eight year olds who despite their parents best efforts, still take joy in hitting animals that can't protect themselves, and keeping younger siblings firmly under thumb with brute force. I have met children like that and watched as they grew to become adults like that, only better able to cleverly conceal their true being. So, before you stop and critisize Card for not writing true to life and children, take a better look at life and the way you were as a child.
Rating: Summary: Ender's Game is one of the best books I have ever read. Review: Ender's Game is one of the best, if not the best book I have ever read. It is the only science fiction book I have ever read that I liked. I read it practically non-stop. I was wrapped up in the emotions of the characters instantly. I have recommended the book to many people and they have all enjoyed it just as much as I have. It is a great book.
Rating: Summary: Ender's Game is about the characters Review: Like most people who enjoyed it, I have read Ender's Game many times. When I read it, I get the feeling that Ender's Game is more about the characters than about the plot. Some people say that it is unrealistic that the children are so young. I think that you should look beyond the ages of the children and just see them as people.
