Summary: hopeful that the movie will capsulize the expansive story
Review: This book marked a turning point for me, after reading over 3000 titles in the last thirty or forty years. I identified so completely with Ender and was so taken by the psychological aspects of the story that I read all of the rest of everything I could find by Card. (He has inspired me to write my own fantasies.) The fact that this story is being made into a movie chilled me to the bone until I was pacified with the knowledge that Card was on the script writing team. If the movie holds even a small percentage of the character, suspense and human drama that Card so skillfully infused from cover to cover it will easily join the ranks of E.T., Star Wars and the other great episodes of human endeavor in the not-too-distant future. I recommend this book without reservation to readers of all ages, the only prerequisite would be that you must have time to finish the book once you pick it up, it is most assuredly that kind of read. May the movie be likewise.

Summary: Fantastically unsurpassed. Brilliant.
Review: Ender's Game is a must read. If you haven't, buy it. It is full of surprising resentment, and full of emotion. This is a book that you could read cover to cover a hundred times and still want to read it again. If you haven't already, I recommend you buy it. You won't regret it.

Summary: Pure entertainment from start to finish.
Review: Excellent, excellent book. Scott Card really knows how to grab hold of your imagination and maintain a strong grip on it. Very interesting ideas used in addition to the great suspense. There wasn't a single chapter I found myself unsatisfied with. An all around powerful novel, and I would recommend it to anyone with a thirst for action.

Summary: MUSTREAD
Review: I had been reading fantasy books for years, but one day I searched trough my brothers books. I picked up Enders game. Cool cover I thought. Well I read the book ,and got hooked on Scott Card books . This book (and the sequels) I think describes human nature in a critical way as with the Alvin Maker series. These books show in a brilliant way how difficult people have to deal with things that are different from themselves ,and how easily fear can cloud mans judgement. And how that faer turns into hate ,and the Xenocide of another race. The caracters in the book are very geniously given life. The main theme in the book is that of the struggle of a young boy forced to grow up among envy ,violence ,lonelyness ,and responibility. Ender never gives up ,but sometimes wants to. This book takes ender trough his most difficult part of life. I haven't got one bad word about this book, BRAVO!

Summary: One word summary...Incredible.
Review: I first read the book in 7th grade when it was recommended to me by my English teacher, which is probably why I have become so "attached" to it. I really related with Ender because I went through many of the same ordeals around the time of my first reading. I must say that even though I have long since outgrown the lonely little boy image, I still read the book regularly to remind myself of my beginnings.

Summary: All in all a great book but the last 10 pages are garbage
Review: I thought the intricate storyline and the many unexpected plot twists were very impressive, but that most caertainly by no means excused the pathetic ending that Card created for this certain title. (For all who have read this title: He should have just stomped on the stupid cocoon or whatever it was).

Summary: Light read with literary value
Review: I'm a 23 year-old English major, and not a reader of science-fiction. This book was recommended to me by a friend who knew I hadn't liked sci-fi I've read in the past. He assured me this book was different. He was right. I was impressed by the characterization, especially the complex relationships between siblings Ender, Valentine and Peter. Unlike most popular fiction, here the characters and their development drive the story. There's alot more going on beneath its surface than most other reviews seem to indicate.I can't imagine anyone thinking this book wasn't worth the short time it takes to read. I read Ender's Game in a few hours and it left an impression on me for days.

Summary: A book that will keep you thinking long after you finish.
Review: I finished reading this book yesterday and I'm still thinking about it, especially the ending. In my opinion, the plot is intricately woven and very detailed and well thought through. Surprise after surprise appears, each one more intriguing and shocking than the last. A truly wonderful book about an amazing six year old, one definitely worth reading. I know that I can't wait to get the first sequel, Speaker for the Dead.

Summary: Amazingly well written!
Review: I must say that this book is the BEST book I have ever read in my life. Mr.Card used up all of his imagination in this book because the other books in the series well...... just suck. But this book deserves 6 stars but there is a limit so... if you can read, get this book. It's worth the price no matter what version you get!

Summary: Ender is the boy I have always dreamed of being.
Review: I am a 23 year old male in the United Sates Marine Corps. Not that it makes a difference to the people outside the military but Ender's Game is on the Commandant's Reading List for Marines that are Corporal and Sergeant. I myself am a Lance Corporal. I was first introduced to this book from my OIC and she spoke highly of the book. I decided to read the book and found myself staying up until 2:00 and 3:00 in the morning. I also found that I was emotional to the way Ender was treated and I wished I was there to help him. I have had my dreams and nightmares being in the military. One of my most interesting dreams is one in which I am extremely intelligent and nothing can throw me or stand in my way from achieving greatness. I aspire now to be like Ender. Orson Scott Card is now on my "Authors to keep an eye on" list. This book comes highly recommended from myself to you.
