Rating: Summary: One of the best sci-fi books of it's genre. Review: My uncle introduced me to Ender's Game at the age of 11 and I have been hooked ever since. Ender is a thouroughly human character that can be related to on so many levels. Card does an excellent job portraying the lonliness and isolation caused by being the best. I recommend this book to everyone and have bought several of my friends copies.
Rating: Summary: I named my Sun workstation "Ender" because I love this book. Review: "Ender's Game" is my favorite novel from Card. It is about the journey of a leader who didn't want to lead; a soldier that didn't want to fight; a war that cannot be won. A great epic that will reach down and twist your guts and emotions because right and wrong are separated by a very blurred line.Don't trust me - trust the people who awarded both the Hugo and Nebula awards to "Ender's Game."
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: A griping story that showed the innocence of the warrior and the honor of his conviction.
Rating: Summary: It's GGGGGGGRRRRRRREEEEEAAAAAATTTTTT!!!!!!!! Review: This book hit the mark. I have read it two times and every time I could not put it down. I can not wait to read the others!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: The best book I've ever read! Review: Since I was 13, Ender's Game has been my favorite book. Relating to Ender was easy, and me and my friends strove to act like him. Since this book, I have been reading everything Card has ever written. He is the best author that I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: couldn't put it down!!! Review: I'm not one much for reading. But when I picked up this book, for a report in the ninth grade, Ijust couldn't put it down. The best story line and characters by far! A must read for any sci-fi lover, or anyone else for that matter!!!
Rating: Summary: This is a very emotional book, excellent - recommended! Review: Hi. I am an 18 years old lad. I am an avid fan of OSC work, and have even infected my kid sister 9.5 years old. Here's her review of EG (translated from Hebrew): There is a lot of thought in this book. If you ask me if this book is worth buying - then I will answer: "Yes, very very very." (I will ask her a leading question: What did you like about the book?) I really enjoyed the surprise at the end. It was like... BOOM! (her words ;-) And, if I, the old man can add a few words - YES. Go. Buy. Read. Be different from it. It's holy and sacred. Then, go read The Worthing Saga. And anything else by Card. ;-)
Rating: Summary: A fast pace, non stop action and overal excellent book. Review: Enders Game is by far one of the best sci-fi books to date. The charecters are timeless and the story line is superb.
Rating: Summary: Easy to understand and beautiful, I wish I could meet Ender Review: Ender's Game is of course the best book I've ever read. I'm not sure why, it must be because I fell in love with Ender just as everyone eles has and can identify with him and his understanding of people completely. It's written using simple language, easy for everyone to understand, but the subplots I found myself intrested in also.
Rating: Summary: This book was well written, and kept the reader's interest. Review: All-around great book. This book kept my attention every second. This book was by far the best book I have ever read. Thank you Mr. Card, because, you caught an 11 year old's attention easily; and kept my attention
